Search within a thread

Hi,
How do you search within a thread nowadays?

Doesn't seem possible  ... just tried all I could think of and can only get to the thread containing my search term(s).

Seems the only way is to construct a search with Google or other search engine following the same conventions. Something like..

"immersion site:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6495452"

Would you believe it I was experimenting with the exact same thread earlier and although google finds some pages with matches to 'switch' in the thread it seems to give up after page 2.

Finds 16 results in the thread.

The key to it is the &discussionID=6495452 added on the end of the URL. I would advise you bookmark this URL somewhere and to use it just edit the search string and the thread ID.

... you don't get to almost 2 to the power 16 posts (or ffff hex) without knowing something ...

The method I showed is a hell of a lot easier.
