My mum had very pink hair when her DGS graduated with his MRes. She must have been in her seventies then!

Wonderful @Watty1 and Wattydog! So proud of you both. Did the leopardskin involve a cloak? Love Humdinger xx

No, only huge clumpy workman like boots. She really is rather wonderful!
What was lovely was the age range too - from 37 to 70 with the youngest bringing her two children who sat at another table, ate cakes, took photos and played on their ipads - both children having dressed appropriately for a party with the youngest in sparkly shoes and sequin jacket and a party dress and the oldest in shirt and fleece. These are people I will miss if we move out of area.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

There is no sign of the food packet yet and no ill effects either.
I should add he found a girlfriend there - a four year old German Shepherd who was long haired just like him and so pretty. They were a handsome couple although I did notice her owners expression when I said how old WattyDog is. It reminded me he is indeed an elderly dog, but he shows no signs of this other than his health issues and now enjoying his evenings watching TV with a kong whereas a year ago he refused to even consider watching TV and drove me mad wanting "to do something"

WattyDog still doing great.
Sadly his human's turn to go to vet/doctor. Some symptoms returned from last year and remembering the consultant said I was to go straight back to GP if said symptoms reappeared I used the online triage form and had a call within an hour from doctor, was seen within 2 hours, examined, swabs taken and referred on the urgent 2 week pathway again.
Sticking with my one thing at a time so not dwelling on it as the bonus was I went to the doctors without panic or anxiety and stopped off at a local shop. So I went out. Lets take the wins where they are.
This has also made me think quite hard about work. As you all know I put a lot of effort into building the business and getting back on my feet financially. I now really do need to work out the next steps for me to give up work which is my long term goal.

Very proud of you, well done x Sorry that was the cause though …
Hope thinking through how you might be able to give up work is a positive distraction 😊

Sorry to hear you had what must have been an unsettling moment, but you really dealt with it as well as anyone could - prompt action is such a bonus.
Thinking about giving up work is in itself the first step in the process. I think you may have mentioned someone who was interested in buying it? Did you not feel ready for that, and if so, have things moved on?

Sorry to hear that some symptoms have returned but, like KK and CF, I'll add my "well done" for dealing with it so quickly. Take care x
