That's a great story, @Suffolk_lass! We could do with ladies like your Grandma still touring the towns. I'd be first to book.

@badmemory, there are some advantages even to an Am azon habit!

I realise, reading this discussion, that I need to get some new bras. At least one gets saggy shoulders because the straps are ancient, but I suspect I've changed size too. There's a bra bank locally to raise money for breast cancer research so I can donate the discards there and that will be two good deeds done: to someone else if the funds raised help someone, and to me because I'll have a much better fit.

I am getting pictures in my head of the flagstone floored kitchen with an Aga and (apple-munching) dog on his blanket in front of it while you (in flowery pinny of course) add apples to a huge cast iron pot. I know you said 'slow cooker', but I am getting overwhelming 'country kitchen' vibes!

Naturally CC has his head over the open half door to keep you company.

I’m not convinced by this new ‘interesting’ button … What’s the point?!

Love that WattyDog wouldn’t eat the apple until you weren’t looking - apples are all the tastier when eaten covertly, don’tcha know … 😉😂❤️
