Record so you can edit if necessary. It means people can use them whenever is convenient. If you want the 'live' feel, then try to deliver it all in one take without swearing or rolling your eyes... Some online courses involved an entire film crew. I do my recordings for internal courses in the same software I use for podcasts because it allows for easier editing - and then get my podcast producer to edit it
If you want to do some live elements, maybe offer live Q&A sessions for each module - but that could get to be a big overhead quite quickly.7 -
Really helpful comments. Thank you. @greenbee what software do you use (PM if you prefer) I'm curious and still thinking it through. I love this forum so much, I can put a post up about something in my life and you are all so helpful in getting me to think things through.
In real life people I know offer an instant answer and move on and the reflection part is often lostMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I use Riverside.fm Watty. Most of the people I know who do podcasts for work seem to use it and my guests are all familiar with it. For us it works out as not particularly expensive compared to using more agency resources and has been useful to improve the quality of internal work too - it's so much easier for me than recording in teams and knowing I have to get it all perfect in a single take! Even I can edit in it, although oddly my team are reluctant to actually let me...4

Thanks. I think I have decided what to do
Really Autumnal this morning. Food shopping delivered yesterday and slow cooker lamb curry today. I will add some extra veggies. I've been surviving on Mindful Chef and convenience style foods and the food spend is too high so the slow cooker is back out after a summer of not using it.
I'm going to ask a neighbour with a lot of rescue chickens if I can buy 6 eggs a week as well. That means I can make some egg based meals which will be cheaper and quick.
Hopefully this will get the food spend back down and help with the end of day fatigue that means I often don't eat well and often too late too. Off to put on the lamb curry now..

Good call on the cooking... although I've been happily filling the freezers and then not actually eating what I've cooked! Having said that, I'm trying to make the most of the courgettes, beans, and tomatoes from the garden while they last, so leaving the other stuff in the freezer for now isn't a huge issue.2

Next year I might try growing some of my own. There are a few things like runner beans that I have found it hard to find fresh here without the faff of going to a farm shop.
I've been thinking for a while that "biscuits" would be nice but I've really cut down on sugar so this morning after making the curry for dinner I cleared a cupboard in the kitchen and I'm guilty of storing food for the shops rather than leaving it there and buying what I need. I want to change that but first I have to use up what is there - so chestnut flour biscuits were made. Really quick, it probably took me longer to look around the internet for ideas that used things I had. I settled on these https://www.carolinescooking.com/gluten-free-maple-chestnut-cookies which took moments to whizz up and although it only made about 12 small ones I've eaten two tiny ones and actually really only needed one with my cup of tea after riding the Charming Cob this morning.

I love your take on storing food for the shops! The recipe looks interesting too, I've never tried chestnut flour but I do love chestnuts.

I have a good recipe for a chestnut flour torte (with pine nuts and rosemary) which freezes well if you want it. Also black bean brownies where I substitute any sugar/syrup/other sugar alternatives with prunes (some people use dates, but I find those too sweet now too). I'll try the biscuits sometime as I have chestnut flour in stock.3
