Nice to hear from you Dorisd, sounds as if you had a fab Xmas, have thought about going away to the sun myself but don’t think family would be onboard.

Planning a healthier and wealthier year ahead myself. Lovely to hear that you have dropped 3 dress sizes, gained muscle and overall more healthier, gives me hope and inspiration.

Here’s hoping your divorce is settled sooner rather than later, think sometimes they drag their heels is because they think they have a hold over you and it’s the last thing they can do to annoy you. Just think this time next year you will be even more healthier, hopefully wealthier and minus a pain in the backside.

I really do feel that deep down I’m ready to move on. 

What I did not mention in my last update is that I have continued dating, not setting hopes on meeting the one, but I have met a very nice man and we have been dating since the summer. 

It has been slow, relaxed and joyful.
He’s thoughtful, considerate and a clear communicator. There’s no performance with him  and I feel like I’m fully myself now and he sees me. We’re also from the same part of the world and it’s nice to have something like that in common.

I don’t know what the future holds with him but I’m happy to take it one step at a time. I’m happy living my own independent life and we manage to fit each other in when it’s convenient for the both of us. There is the small thing of logistics, as he lives in a different city but with that space comes less pressure I think.

Easy day today for me, potter about the house this afternoon and then I’m meeting up with him for dinner in the early evening.
