Found this dress in one of the Thirsk chazza shops at the week-end £6. Didn’t realise it was a supermarket dress, (Nutmeg, Morrisons?). Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the jersey fabric and also the make 🙂. In the Thirsk CB I picked up this b/n Seasalt, current stock), tote bag for £1. Also got an HP printer for £3 not expecting it to work but it did and had ink😀. Not had a working printer for yonks, since I went over to a Mac and the new fangled, hoity toity Mac rejected my trusty old printer. 🙄

Those are so cute @Miró! And as to getting a working printer for £3...! With ink... it's great value even without the printer.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Hi guys
i work in a charity shop selling books, games, jigsaws, cds, dvds etc. A lot of our customers are regulars (and after they’ve passed the books round to friends return them to be resold.)and then when they get scruffy they go for 50p
Recycling at its best. The only thing I need at the moment are some jumpers so next time I’ve time I’ll pop into our sister shop and see what there is. I’m attempting to have balance in my clothes so one in and one out. I’ve finally had to throw a cardigan away ( even the bobble remover wasn’t helping ) so I’ve space for I more.

Niagara Falls.
As for Niagara Falls - having grown up nearby I always figured it was over rated but visitors were always well impressed so I know it's a big attraction. And it has always meant wherever I have travelled around the Europe everyone knows where it is and so know where I'm from. Except once in the Alps and I told a Dutch couple I was from Niagara Falls and they just shook their heads. And then the penny dropped and one said "Ah Ja! @Floss, I've been lucky with cashmere but never found a silk scarf. Do you remember when very lightweight silk scarves, in any colour you care to think of, abounded? I had bright yellow and dark green, and a sky blue shawl in the same material. Still got them all somewhere.
And @Floss I might look at converting them to pillow cases but I have very very short hair so don't need to keep it from tangling. Besides for a bed linen I like cotton.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Bedale this morning, a perfect day though the stall holders who had been there since first thing looked as though they were still thawing out despite warm sunshine.
I bought a sieve (50p), a book on Moroccan cookery (50p), a book for my grand daughter (20p) and a lidded glass storage container (£1).
DH got some old coins, don’t know how much, and two bags of apples for 50p each and his colleague and her son were last seen deep in conversation with the Beanie Baby seller. 😊
It’s getting close to the end of the season now. I’d seen somewhere that this is that last one for now but elsewhere it says it’s going on another month.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

@Cherryfudge It’s the last one for Northallerton this weekend but they are having a Christmas Fayre type of thingy early December. As far as I know Bedale and Thirsk are going for a little while longer. The Thirsk one was heaving with buyers but not so many sellers as usual today.5

Thanks @Miró, that Northallerton one has really taken off! I was surprised Bedale and Thirsk ran yesterday, I thought the grounds would be saturated but maybe all the rain fell on our house?
I think the lovely sunshine yesterday brought all the buyers out but the overnight cold put sellers off.
