Shop Charity Store in '24!

Goodies from Bedale this morning.  From the freezing cold C/B, a b/n Champneys Spa robe, £5.  From Age Concern, a b/n House of Bruar, lambswool scarf in an amethyst shade for £4.49 and from the Herriot Hospice shop, a Hobbs, cobalt blue dress for £8, (done a weird camera angle here…it’s not so squat and wide irl🤭)

Oh and don't forget to get all your unwanted Christmas decorations in to the charity shops sooner rather than later.  They can't sell them after Christmas (well not easily)

Those are lovely @Miró. Well done for braving Bedale. I slept in and by the time I'd had breakfast, it was raining, so that's probably it for car boot sales for me this year.

i think there is another one next week, (the last), but I am off on a jaunt to Inverness next Saturday sooooo if we have any chazza fans local to Inverness with recommendations please do shout out, (or even whisper 😊) x

So it was sheer luck that I found one in good working order for £3 yesterday. It's also a dream to clean: add the minimum fill of hot water and tiniest drop of washing up liquid, and press play for 10 seconds. Rinse out and dry when cool.

Highland Hospice Shop on Academy Street opposite M&S foodhall entrance. Large - 2 floors - and a bit boutiquey. I couldn’t buy anything as was on my JoGLE hike!

Wow! My (unsigned) copy was £1. 

I am reaching the point of saturation when it comes to purchases. I just have too much stuff and it is now exceeding the point of storage so I will need to get rid of even more! I need to displace my chazzer habit with something that brings me as much pleasure (and ideally involves a lower outlay - I doubt I spend more than £500 a year and get a great deal for my money!).
