After waiting months and months, my tomato plants have finally decided to flower. At this rate, I might get some fruits in time for Christmas.
Christmas has been and gone (good riddance), but the tomatoes have steadfastly refused to ripen. Contemplating taking some cuttings and getting a head start on next year.

Well I have done very little GYO related activity - a combination of sheer laziness and - well - laziness, BUT next door's cows got thru' his flimsy fencing, (always on his list of things to get done - I sympathise with the sentiment), and then into our orchard, (all gates open because we haven't got any stock at the moment), and then they hoovered up all the windfalls - which saves me the job of clearing them - result!.  Ground is a bit poached though.

@FreeBear It was quite a lot of windfalls - though we suspect there were quite a lot of cows.

Usually the farm manager strings up electric fencing to keep the herd away from the dodgy fencing but they were on their hols and prob. didn't tell the relief manager.  Happens once in a while - though the farm manager came round with lovely, lovely presents (dozens of eggs; steak; wine!!).
