Thanks OP, reserved 1 for my lil one!£900 towards next holiday...ta very much Mr T x0

Telford , Colliers Way, Shropshire currently showing 2 available.
Reserve NOW!!!:beer:0 -
I know, I'll reserve stuff that I don't want to buy and advertise the reservations on here to get some kudos and stop all those genuine buyers who havn't or don't use MSE of a chance of getting something they really want.
Numpty!
Numpty? If the cap fits...comes to mind.
I reserved three at different stores and gave two reservations away (for no personal gain or 'kudos' - I don't need either). Both receipients have PM'd me saying they have managed to pick up their robots and are very happy.
They were reserved for no other reason, than to keep them on this board and not HUKD or the like. So does that make them or me non genuine buyers? I hope that Santa got you a life this Christmas because to me, it sounds like you need a new one.
Edit - and checking stock this evening, there is still stock at TIVERTON, Devon for those quick enough.0 -
Ohhh, I'm in two minds whether to get it now, had a look at a video on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j16CB_DXZqQ) and I just don't know.
I got the RoboSapien V1 and it's gathering dust on top of a bookcase. Part of me thinks "well it's only 8 quid", but I'm prone to buying stuff that get's used once and that's it...Everybody dies, but not everyone truly lives0 -
I reserved one of these yesterday @ £7.99 and went at 4 oclock today to collect it, it came up at £79.99! I said this was wrong and showed my reservation email and said that the website clearly showed it was supposed to be less than half price, the manager came and checked with his internal email and said HO have said NOT to honor the price, even though it was still showing online as available at that price.
I think I might take this up with HO, but is there likely to be any point? Has anyone had any previous experience of argos in a situation like this?
Well done to those of you who managed to get one!
any advice welcome

I have said my piece, but being as you missed the point entirely i'll just point you in the right direction.....
This doesn't make my opinion any the less valid.
p.s... fair play to you for posting the origonal offer, but all this reserve for the sake of it is not good for the consumer on the bigger scale...it might work for MSE but how long before a tabloid gets a story angle and causes Martin some flak?
food for thought (I look at the big picture, not whats in front of me)
I might acctually ask a media friend to do some research here and make that story happen, cause until it does happen, people will abuse this website and shop offers untill this place closes / the shops stop online reservation / etc.
If that makes me a Numpty i shall don the cap
p.s.... your a bigger Numpty than me.£2 savers club = £83.500 -

No! the store I went to doesn't have a fast pay AND when I had been reading mse posts about this no-one had mentioned fast pay at that time?! I had no option but to go to an assistant.... what a bummer.... my son was really looking forward to spending his xmas tenner (from his granny) on this.pinkpinkfizz
