@PipneyJane, sorry to hear your news, hugs9

@PipneyJane - hugs and a speedy recovery. I had a bleeding ulcer 5 years ago and it may me miserable enough without it developing into something else. I was so tired all of the time - doctor told me it was all because I was "overweight and not exercising". By the time I got to the emergency room, they were surprised I had been able to even walk in. I had three pints of blood, an endoscopy and colonoscopy the next day. I will be sending along hugs everyday until you are better.11

I've found a place to service my machine in Rochdale - bit far to take your recommendation Pip
so it's going in on Thursday. I found a great material shop called Fabworks in Dewsbury last year (lots of dead stock) and they deliver and have a website so need to avoid it this year unless anything special needed

@PipneyJane massive {{{hugs}}} and here's a stiff cyber-brandy - the totally imaginary, but very morale-boosting, stuff. That shock of being told... it's a life-defining moment. Take heart that the prognosis is good; they know what they're talking about & if your hospital is anything like mine, they know that patients don't want things sugar-coated, so they tell it like it is. Chemo's not much fun (although some lucky souls are scarcely affected) but it does do the job. Hopefully you will be able to rest through the process; sleep & good food (even when you don't feel like it) - oh, and warm gloves, scarves & hats! - will see you through, as they did for me. Help is available for heating bills, through McMillan, if needed; you will probably need to stay warm this winter.

Hugs and more hugs, Pipney-Jane. My late mother had this type of lymphoma when she was sixty and when she was eighty she denied she had ever had it!
