Oh dear, no NSD for me today as needed cat food, confectionery for DH and some semi-skimmed mild to last us over the weekend, my grown up DS drinks pints of it! Hopefully I'll crack the 10 NSD's by the end of next week.
Stay warm people!

It takes a while for your palate to adjust. Try not going the whole hog all at once and make one change at once; go to oats instead of cereal for breakfast, add fruit to your breakfast. For savoury, try making your own soups - almost bombproof and every flavour you could think of. Gradually increase the cocoa content of your chocolate from milk through to dark, just eat two squares at time. Experiment with sauces - cauli and broccoli get pretty boring but a mix, lightly boiled, covered with a HM cheese sauce (not difficult) and then finished off under the grill transforms them 😉HotDog2020 said:I am not doing so well, I keep feeling like I need more then the basics food wise, I just can't stick to healthy eating however much I try and I am on wegovy, I don't think it is working for me like they say it should, I keep buying junk food, I really enjoy it, I hate healthy food, I am always left feeling unsatisfied (with healthy food), does anyone else feel like that?

@GeorgianaCavendish, sadly think I was too slow! I did have a search but couldn't find any deals, except for a Thompson & Morgan deal for this month which had already expired. I bet it was popular. My bad, I'll have to keep a better eye out for these thingsGeorgianaCavendish said:Adding another 4 NSDs (12th, 15th, 16th and 17th Jan) bringing me to 10 NSDs
Hope that you got your bulbs @cathybird

@HotDog2020 I agree with KajiKita that it takes time to adjust. I had a friend who used to get cravings for unhealthy stuff so she would keep semi-healthy snacks in the house like good chocolate and nuts and she found that helped. You have my sympathy though because January is such a hard month to cut down - it's so dark and cold at this time of year and all I ever want is to hunker down at home with creature comforts to hand. There are threads on MSE that deal with this issue, such as this one - different slimming system I know but I bet they have helpful ideas about dealing with cravings, and hopefully can point you in the right directionHotDog2020 said:I am not doing so well, I keep feeling like I need more then the basics food wise, I just can't stick to healthy eating however much I try and I am on wegovy, I don't think it is working for me like they say it should, I keep buying junk food, I really enjoy it, I hate healthy food, I am always left feeling unsatisfied (with healthy food), does anyone else feel like that?
