If phone gets stolen and it wasn't backed up, you are stuck with no phone, no SIM card and therefore no access to anything even if you are able to get another phone

App users also have the option of logging in online, with the majority of the major financial institutions.
It's just the fact that apps, are far more convenient and secure.

Phone insurance, modern phones do away with physical SIMS, you can get a new e-SIM emailed in seconds
Again this is a pivot away from the fact apps are more secure

The point was you claimed there was no way to get a SIM card even if you got a new phone - this is factually wrong
