Did all except 5 mins of yoga today, as felt a bit queasy! Thankfully it the feeling didn't last long 😊
Work went ok, pleased I managed to calm a distressed person down. Had laughs in the office at lunchtime. Had to stop off at the shop near work to get a few things DS2 had run out if. Still no diesel in the village...
Did Norwegian when I got home, made a fire & decluttered a few things. Watched TV with DS1 & did more quilling. Made arrangements with a friend to meet for 2 Wool Club sessions this term, so something to look forward to (& it's free)!
Grateful for laughs with colleagues, Wool Club arrangements, that it wasn't icy this morning, colleague giving me cat food that her cat didn't likeUse it up, wear it out

Not done alot the last couple of days. Cycled to the plot a couple of times. Tipped off my bike due to 🤬potholes. Luckily not too badly injured, back just a bit sore. Nsd. Think I might be coming down with something as I've fallen asleep twice today or it could be drugs haven't kicked in.
Grateful for
1. Plot providing half of tea
2. Mum taking miss giddychops for a walk
3. New information provided by my new gardening book.
Love 🐞

@DawnW glad all went well for your brother's op.
@Flying_By Sorry to hear your poor step-mum has covid after her op. Pity no one told you before your visit but at least you had a chat with her and dropped nice clean laundry off.
First zumba class last night since early December. Didn't want to go as it was freezing but had a laugh whilst doing some exercise. Felt better for it afterwards.
Called at The R*nge for some decent peanuts for the birds but they've stopped stocking the ones I like so had to have bigger (dearer) bag to try. Sure the birds won't care! Bought a pack of sewing needles to finish making another flower brooch that we tried at craft class last Sunday.
Driving to work early this morning and a lovely barn owl flew up from the grass verge. I just managed to brake in time to miss him. Very ghostly looking in the dim light.
Been a busy and varied day at work. Kept getting taken off my job to help with others. I seem to have become the chief packer amongst other things but I don't mind as others can do more skilled work. I only work 3 days a week so go wherever they need me. Was standing whilst working most of the morning and eventually had to ask for a desk job for a bit as my legs ached so much! Got a lot done so that it could be sent out and invoiced. Also accidentally took my afternoon tea break an hour earlier than i should because I misread the time which everyone thought was hilarious!
Got some more old boxes from work so that I can declutter my bedroom for my German friend and her son visiting in Feb. They need somewhere to sleep!
My son texted to say the company he has been temping for want to take him on permanently on a reasonable wage. I'm so thrilled for him as he's been temping for different places for about 8 years now whilst trying to get a permanent placement.
No NSD today so think I'm sticking on 2 so far.
Grateful for my job giving me just enough money to manage on, the nice team I work with, seeing the lovely barn owl, my son hopefully getting more settled, a bright frosty day. X

Unintentionally, this is my first check in. Since the first, I've been pretty good. Have improved my happiness levels by getting my bullet journal in order. Front page spread took way longer than intended, but it looks smart and the whole thing is more in depth than in previous years, including some 'SMART'-style goals.
I haven't had to do too much gun sticking-to until today, when I told may head of department that what he wanted wasn't possible in the timeframe available. We'll see how well my resistance continues tomorrow.
I so far have two NSDs under my belt this month and am back to cycling most weekdays, which is certainly helping towards the "Activity" element.
Gratitude
1) My manager, who helped me out with a massive problem earlier and also let me have a big rant about it.
2) Jacket potatoes, cheese and beans – dinner of champions.
3) Central heating.13 -
Welcome @FrugalAspirations! Great news on DS's job offee @Esmeralda2662 🎉 I'm a great believer in what's meant for you won't pass you by 😃
Sending hugs @Toni'sfriend, hope you have a better day tomorrow, & to @ladybird1106, glad you didn't hurt yourself badly.
Didn't want to get up this morning, managed to prise myself out half an hour after my alarm, & did yoga. Advertised some things if DS2's at a lower price & they were snapped up. Buyer away on holiday, so I've agreed to keep them until they return.
A great day at work. Persuaded my pupil to do a job they flatly refused to do, so despite things being thrown (& made to pick up!), & lots of them shouting, they were given lots of praise afterwards. Hopefully they'll be more willing next time 🤞 Had lots of laughs in the office at dinnertime.
Stopped for diesel on the way home, so peace of mind for the early morning airport run tomorrow. DS1 feeling excited & nervous, but all packed ready.
Did some Norwegian practice, then after tea I finished quilling my friend's birthday present.
A soak in the bath, then an early night.
Grateful for selling some things (more decluttering), pupil working hard, praise from the teacher, laughter & finishing the quilled picrureUse it up, wear it out
