Mine does that from time to time, Grandmanerd. Straightening it out and giving it a good pull usually works but you might have already tried that.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10

NSD No 5
I awoke this morning feeling really, really down. Several reasons, I think.- The potential enormity of my health situation hit me like a sledge hammer in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep.
- The few family and friends that I've told about the recent diagnosis have mostly reacted in a negative manner. I really don't need negativity. I need positivity and encouragement. Although I do realise that they are just concerned and don't know how to react.
- My friends are off to Spain for three months, the lovely cousin is going to Tenerife on Wednesday and I know there is no way I'm going to be able to do that any time soon. I should have been leaving for a month in Germany on Monday but can't do that now. Banned from flying for a while after the nonsense of the biopsy. And couldn't really go anyway because I don't know when hospital appointments/surgery will take place.
.
So, I'm meeting the lovely cousin for lunch on Tuesday before she goes and booked a hairdressing appointment for Friday. Himself and I have been busy, busy decluttering and the spare room looks almost like a normal bedroom now. Used up all the veg that was hanging around to make soup and we're having good old mince and tatties for dinner. Proper Scottish comfort food.
So just a little wobblyHave a good weekend. Hope Storm Henk hasn't caused you too many problems. xxxx

Good afternoon 🌘
Thank you so much ditty for that link to 30 days of yoga. I really enjoy yoga - but the class at my gym runs at 09:00 on a Sunday - and am so not a morning person - especially mid winter when its dark and cold. I might give this a go!!! Very grateful!
Well done Starlight on shifting the CC debt to 0%. Definitely one of the important strategies for debt reduction. If anyone spots any 0% balance transfer plus 0% transfer fee cards let me know!!! They are the best ones but don't come around very often.
Productive day - got to the gym and did some cardio. Did some mindfulness which started my day off well too. At the time of writing I am on track for a NSD. Can you believe it?!?!
Today I am grateful for:
1) Ditty - for their link to free yoga!!!
2) Great energy levels
3) A lovely bright sunny day
Today = NSD number 2
Have a lovely rest of Saturday x⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐
Follow your heart & be true to yourself always

((Hugs)) @Toni'sfriend.Lazy-ish day today. DD and little ones came round this morning. Spent some time clearing up the debris this afternoonIt was a pleasant, sunny day after all the rain, and I pegged washing outside on the line. It only dried a bit, and has to be finished off on the airer, but better than nothing.Finished up the big pot of chilli made earlier in the week. Still lots of sweet potato soup left after lunch today. It is lovely with a spoonful of HM pesto from the freezer swirled on top.I have to fetch my brother tomorrow, so we can make an early start on Monday morning journey to the hospital for his op. Now stressed in case a) the taxi doesn't turn up, or b) we get to the big city hospital and they tell us they are having to cancel. I will be so pleased when this procedure is done. Hopefully any future treatment can take place at the 'local' hospital, which, although it isn't terribly local, is at least easy to get to!10

A nice day here, the sun has shone, the cold bug has been a bit less heady, but back in my ears a bit
but made it out for a lovely walk with DD, followed by pasties (bought by her) and hot drinks (bought by me!).
Unfortunately slipped in giant muddy patch, got a free facial and plastered all over my clothes, and most significantly, bent my phone into a banana shape. It is still working, quite incredibly, but many of its inside bits are on display so I fear it may not work for long!
Grateful for: sunshine and no broken bones, only a bit of bruising
evening out at local cinema with cousin and aunt, a good distraction
DD being able to drive herself back to where she is staying tonight, which cut down on time and petrol, as she can bring car back on her planned return trip on Tuesday rather than me do both ways both days.
Leftovers that hit the spot! Did anyone else hear the michael mosely just one thing podcast that was saying reheated carbs are actually better for you than the first time around? I have taken that to heart 🤣
