Received a Claim from the CNBC for a PCN I never received. Alleged offence was from May 2019!

Half that stuff in 2 isn't facts.
Remove most of it.
In para 2.3 you have 'alleged breach' twice in one sentence. Remove the repetition.
And change 'offence' (twice) to event.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Done. Updated and now sent to the CCBC email address. I just wait for the next steps now!
Thanks all for the help provided and the great work you do on the forum - without this, I've no idea how people would navigate this process!1 -
You know what happens next as it is shown in the 12 steps.2

Received the early copy of the Claimants questionnaire. Filed it and awaiting the CCBC to send out their Questionnaire.1

PPCs always claim pcns/letters were sent but they offer no evidence of this to the many motorists who report not receiving them. PPCs can but CHOOSE not provide proof of posting. We must press DLUHC to ensure they do in the new Parking Code of Practice. Please @Flameboy76 sign and share this petition

Require communications from Private Parking companies to be traceable/trackable
Thank you1 -
I've signed @Nellymoser - good luck with your petition.
I've also completed a SAR for the DVLA today to get ahead of any information needed for the Court hearing. I want to know what information has been requested about me / my car from the parking company and when it was requested given they claim to have sent the original PCN to the wrong address and even when admitting that, never re-issued the PCN to the correct address (which they clearly knew). I'm thinking this is a strong point for my defence.

It's not actually my petition

I support it and am trying to encourage signings. Thank you for yours. Good luck with your hearing if it goes ahead..maybe get discontinued like so many others do.0 -
Received an email from DBT Legal last week:
...We write in relation to the above matter.
As per your request, please find attached the evidence we hold on the Parking Charge Notice issued against you on 3rd May 2029 at Horizon Retail Park, <postcode>. If there are any documents that you have requested, but that are not enclosed with this email, it is because we have deemed the request to be disproportionate and/or not relevant to the substantive issues in dispute.
WITHOUT PREJUDICE SAVE AS TO COSTS
In order to assist the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our Client may be prepared to make an offer to conclude this matter. A settlement at this stage would avoid further potential costs being incurred. We therefore ask that you call us on 0203 838 7038 as soon as possible to discuss this further.
...
They have also included the actual evidence they hold (which is the first time I have seen this) and have pasted that below. I'm worried that the 'evidence' will be enough in the court's eyes to show I was there at the time and the ANPR has picked up me entering and leaving the premises. My observation of the signage in particular is that there is snow on the ground, so couldn't have been taken in May and does not prove the signs were there at the time of the ticket being issued.
My main points are still:- I never received the PCN or NTK and they never re-issued it, even after they knew my address had changed (through a DVLA SAR, which I have also included below).
- I could have entered and left the car park multiple times that wasn't picked up on the ANPR cameras
Would really appreciate any guidance here as certainly more worried than I was before.Evidence letter

But they always discontinue anyway.
You'll know this (and you know when it happens) from reading a few of over 300 cases in @Umkomaas' DCB Legal discontinuances thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think my case is coming to an end, but the last letter I have received doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone on this forum interpret what this means? Does it mean I have to attend court on the 28th August, or just the Claimant?
