me again!
Have just had a email back from the HR dept at the interview place; there is parking onsite so that will make next week a lot less stressful. Hopefully with onsite parking there might be staff parking as well - fingers crossed! Would definitely be a plus.
1 x WM already swished, waiting to be hung on the airer. 1 x DW swishing atm, probably almost done to be honest.
Have had a sort out of the attic room quickly. Checked behind the furniture - no damage done to the carpet thank goodness! Have moved the furniture back at a different angle, hopefully fluffy rabbit will no longer be able to get back there - but he does seem to wriggle into the oddest of places lol.
Otherwise, shredded a few odd papers, theres some other paper and plastic bits for the recycling.
Large heavy book, a old picture frame and some artist pencils (that are brand new and I will never use...) for the CS bag. New kindle wire was on my desk, will move it to the odds and ends draw downstairs (where I have a small tin for random wires).
Going to do the other odd jobs and then have a shower and some lunch.

Hi all,
@Mrs SD the system for the B12 jab is that I make the appointment for the next jab while in the clinic having the current jab, I have them every 12 weeks. I use the calendar in my phone but they do give me a note on a piece of paper as well. Then usually I get a text reminder of the appointment a couple of days before but actually this is not that useful as I need to order the meds to take with me so I put another reminder on my phone to order the meds. It used to be 5 days before but as the system to order meds seems to be slowing down I will move it to 8 days as my appointments are on Saturday it will be ordered then on the Friday which will give the doctor and pharmacy time to have it ready. I rely totally on my phone which I should probably back up with the real calendar but I never remember to do that and the bits of paper get lost in the depths of my handbag. I am usually prompted to check by feeling particularly tired. It is a bit of a weird feeling as it isn't like just not having enough sleep, it is more like not having even having the energy to get off the couch
. I have learned to recognise it now and this last month hasn't been too bad, probably because I have been outside so much topping up the vit D in the garden, all these things are connected
Yesterday I was totally hopeless at decluttering. After I got home from the sm, well 3 sm, another hunt for the spray starch was a fail but I have 1 sm left to try then it might have to be the big river shop. I did put everything away but it was raining quite heavily so nothing done in the garden and nothing else done eitherso no numbers to add
. Today I am feeling a bit better and have already dealt with a banking thing and have put 2 loads through the machine and am heading out to the garden
I
Hugs to everyone who would like one
Take care everyone

Interview sounds promising crazy bunny. DD1 had a house rabbit for many years. He used to come to us when she went away. He nibbled the bottom of my expensive curtains, the strap on a new handbag and chewed through the wire of my beautiful baby blue smeg fridge. I don’t know how he survived that. 🐇💥 He was beautiful, white angora, butter wouldn’t melt. Looks can be deceptive. 🤣
currently en route to Burry to collect the mended clock.Vx:13 -

Evening,
Got rid of a big sofa! Decluttered it to my daughters house. My new flat (when I get it) is a totally different shape and it wouldn't fit.. Cat used to sleep on it on her blanket and she can't work out where it's gone.
1513-1514. Rubbish and recycling out.
1515 4 seater settee gone to daughter..
1516 big pile of dust bunnies, cat toy and 2 painkiller5s from under the settee.

I didn't find anything really from moving stuff around to do the carpets, but now everything has settled post holiday, I still do feel like we have too much stuff. So I am looking for around 10 things to get rid of everyday and in whatever area I find or feels the most overwhelming on that day. It's definitely getting tricky to get to the minimum amount, but hoping a tiny bit everyday will get me closer. I've also got some more charity bags so DH can fill them up with his clothes... now to wait and see if he actually does it!27 things in - mostly kitchen stuff for storage/lunchboxes (and so xmas presents I've got in advance), so cue me looking for things to exit the kitchen earlier today. I also still need to investigate the bottom of the freezer to make sure we use up everything in there that I may have forgotten about.
2 - glass jars for kitchen stuff
12 - xmas gift for DD/DS
5 - food containers for freezer/lunchbox

Wednesday another bright warm start to the day - 19C at 09:30. We are both up & mostly dressed & having a cuppa. I did do the wudupa last night + DH & I packed our bags. The wheelie bin was emptied this morning & a new black bag is in. Finally loaded bike 10:20 although somehow DH managed to trip & fall out the front door & bang his ribs on the concrete step 😣 😥 After checking that he was OK we waved goodbye to my DSis & left at 10:35 (went past surgery to drop off a ‘sample’ tmi 😉) Made our usual stop at the OK Diner (12:30) where I had an All Day Breakfast & DH had a cheeseburger & fries. An hour later we were back on the road. The weather was perfect for motorcycling - dry, plenty of sunshine & temperatures in the low to mid 20’s 🙂 Just the one 2024 landmark - the Denby Dale Pie Dish. In 1964 a 6.5 ton pie was made & the pie dish is now planted up with flowers. We finally arrived at The Clarendon at 18:25 & were checked into the Hare Room. Dinner at 19:30 - we shared our meals 😉 Starters: Pigeon Breast with ravioli, cherry, mushroom & pancetta OR Whitby Crab with pickled samphire, cucumber & red pepper. Main courses: Yorkshire Dales Venison with Carrot, Butternut Squash, Curried Mango & Spiced Jus OR Yorkshire Dales Rabbit Loin with Caramelised Onion & Wholegrain Mustard Mashed Potato, Roasted Endive & Toasted Hazelnuts. 😋 We shared a dessert - Raspberry & Chocolate Tart with Nemalaka & Raspberry Sorbet. We did have a few beers 😉 The main advantage of eating out is no washing up 🥳 Forgot to mention the wildlife - horses, cows, sheep & a solitary raptor tentatively identified as a buzzard 😉 Sadly no chickens in playgrounds 😂 DH’s ribs ache a little, so fingers & everything else crossed that he hasn’t done himself too much of a mischief 🤞
1341 - 1344 Drinks can, 2 newspapers, plastic bottle - recycled
vulpix, I promise that if it ever happens again I will contact the doctor asap. Meanwhile I need to start an exercise programme & a proper diet 😞 The pub in Greenwich Market is the Coach & Horses if you are still on for meeting up 😊 As to the ‘ugly house’ I am just wondering how long it has been on the market & if the price is negotiable 😉 Craft Club sounds wonderful 😊 especially as you came away with so much lavender & the poppy seeds 🤩
TC77, steady decluttering 👏 & you should only return the jumper if you do not like it 😉
crazybunnylady4, perhaps you should designate it as your ‘Mad Money’ 😉 I hope the plumber was successful, quick & tidy and did NOT charge an arm & a leg 🙏 Sounds like you have made the correct decision in decluttering your job 😊 Everything crossed that the new job interview goes well & that it is exactly what you want🤞
Crazycatlady2, now that you have decided I wish you every success in getting quotes for the building works & getting reliable & efficient tradespeople 🙏🙂 Good luck with the decluttering 🍀 Gentle hugs for you & your husband (with your permission of course 🙂)
crazybunnylady4, good news about the parking at your potential new workplace 🙂 You have been busy today 👏 Perhaps you should put a little bell on Mac either that or a tracking device 😂
Liverpool_Anne, you would think that the doctor would order the medication rather than leaving it to the patient 🤔 The bright side about the rain is that you haven’t had to water the garden + it should be easier to do any weeding/digging 🤞 Please conserve your energy until you have had your B12 jab 🙏
vulpix, I hope it wasn’t too expensive to get the clock repaired 🤞
Excellent decluttering ilovetea especially the sofa 👏 although I do feel sorry for your cat 😅
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 With so much successful decluttering you must be finding it difficult to find 10 things per day to get rid of in any area of your house 😰 Fingers crossed that DH does declutter his clothing & in the very near future 🤞
All caught up. I will wish you all a peaceful night 😴 & I am sending many cwtches to all who need or want them 🤗

Nice to hear about your trip Mrs SD. Hope Mr SD is ok. I had never heard of the giant pie dish. What a claim to fame. Clock repair was £14 which I thought was very reasonable. The ugly house was reduced in May. It seems empty from the pics. I would definitely be putting a cheeky offer in. In my mind I have already built an extension, had new bathrooms and kitchen and made a lovely garden! I am up for a meet up at the pub in Greenwich. I will get DIL on the case as my logistics planner.
I am on the home straight with the quilt. Tomorrow I will sew the bias binding on.,hand sew the bias binding at the back and sew the scottie dog buttons at the patch joints. Bunting may be just a step too far before we head down South next week.

We are having issues with my SIL demanding things from FIL house. We inherited the house and contents and agreed to discuss any items she requested so some we said yes to but some no as very sentimental and worried would be sold for drugs. She referred to the house as a !!!!!! hole which is where my husband's parents lived for 30 years so as you can imagine that went down well. The good news was we reconnected with niece and nephew we haven't seen for years so we hope we continue to see themSo we getting quotes to make changes to house now we own it and will have to borrow money to do this while ours sells.....ironic that we own 2 houses and got to borrow money 🤣
Decluttering off I go 🤣14 -
Morning Peeps,
Had a good day yesterday as not with parents lazy sis did a very short stint then the care plan kicked in supposedly till DSis2 arrived.
I had been given the last 4 under the sink cupboard items and they were allocated to the excesses shelf in the shed. This is to keep things out before they are needed under the sink.
I cleaned the back of the car with a tooth brush - meaning getting into the fine nooks where moss had taken up life, this was from the car park where I worked as was surrounded by lovely grounds and trees. I have been meaning to clean the boot glass and the bit where the hinges are that never gets cleaned at the car wash unless you had a posh wash. Not sure how long it hadn't been done but I know I haven't done it in 9 years
I didn't use car products, just what was under the sink. I finished off 3 bottles and the job got done
Also whilst on lap top which is currently on a shelf I spotted a bottle of some air fresh stuff that had 4 sticks in it and had a sniff at it definitely past its best (another item from parents house) Down to the shed and into the excess box located another bottle of product with a better smell and 4 new sticks. Old bottle recycled and sticks saved for the fire.
Other bits from the back garden got moved to where they should be. Some binned or stored better. DH was giving assistance, he also decided about some wood that is stored and will now be repurposed then what's not used will be fire fodder for us. Photos taken of items to be advertised and are loaded up. Garden pots and plant pots that came from parents are taking up space behind the workshop and I was looking to get rid of some. 2 does not constitute "some", yet, they are gone.
There is a plan for the 8 bags of hard core and there trip to the tip as we can only deposit 3 at a time, it beggars belief of such a small quantity when this type of rubble can/should be sold on for reusing within the industry of rebuilding. It is the plaster from around 2 windows not even a wall full in a domestic property. Then they wonder why people fly tip and we will have to make 3 trips adding more pollution (just on my soap box - I'll dismount it now)
A wash LDFPA as that is what a sunny day is for.
Another condolence card used.
Went up in the loft too for some items that I am hoping that stall holders will accept who are doing a WW2 display over the weekend. It would be a shame for them not to have another purpose. They have got product in them as they are actually new.
Does anyone else get desperate along with an internal turmoil to find items/stuff to go or is it just me? There is an upturned bottle of conditioner on the bath and I know there are only a few product dregs but want it gone, hopefully will be when I have my shower shortly.
Yesterday was a good day
Hugs offered where needed
2 Scratters xx
