Huge hugs to anyone having a rough time at the moment.
I tackled a cupboard while waiting for pancakes to cook - a broken grater, a kettle filter (for making tea in the kettle 😐) and the lesser lemon squeezer are gone. I'm going clean up the spiraliser and see if anyone else wants it. Otherwise, gone. I also passed on a bag of DD's clothes to a friend.18 -
Hello! Been in the TLC carriage….very tired this week and full of can’t be arsed….lots of thinking too. I am still living or trying to live as though I’m not poorly and am graciously admitting……not defeat but acceptance. I rarely say much to people about my illness as I get on my own nerves but read some articles about how a big illness has made people change. And I want to do nice things….like eat cake, play with the dogs, do crafty stuff and obviously spend time with hubby. And increase my walking which is utter pants at the moment…..
So just a ramble reallly and feel free to skip through!⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Books
I love reading and thought I would share some authors I like from K1nd!e unlimited. I pay a set amount each month and read tons and tons. Some are utter rubbish but some are brilliant!
So here they are:
Caroline Mitchell - thrillers. They can be very very dark but kept me on the edge of my seat.
Tim Sullivan - British detective type. The main character is on the spectrum and not having any experience with that don’t know if it’s true to type but they are very good books.
”Cozy Mysteries” a these are gentlerish crimes and there are several authors but the books are classed as Cosy Mysteries - I like them and they are very easy to read. Rachel Ward and Peter Boland were brilliant.
“The Maid” by Nita Prose - I thought it was really odd at first but really got into it and enjoyed it.
Hallow Haven Witch - terrible!!!! Don’t get me wrong I love this sort of thing but it was completely implausible even for this genre.
Shani Struthers - undecided.
So far this year I have read 12 books…. I don’t watch much tv 🤣🤣🤣

I'm also exploring alternative roles at work - while I love my job & the Execs I support, I am really struggling with my line manager's obvious lack of management & support, more noticeable since I came back after 6 months off. I have my PDR soon, so will have to carefully consider what to say & how to say it to get my views across. There will be no development, training or new challenges as we're a bit of a dead-end role 😕2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I have two bags for life filled up to take to a charity shop tomorrow.
I did go through my airing cupboard and there is a duvet cover that I like but it takes ages to dry hanging up so I cut it up to make pet blankets. It was king size so they should last a good while.

Mrs SD - I did read about the spin off show to The Missing. We will watch that afterwards. The actor who plays the detective is very charismatic.2025 GOALS

Brie, I suppose the one advantage of the womblers visiting is that the official chaps only have the lighter debris to collect - after all you wouldn’t want them hurting themselves 🤣 Ooh your own Mary Berry 😉 I hope he tidies up after himself 🤞
Him? Clean up?? It was the one proviso in the kitchen design that the sink must be large and stainless steel. Everything else was up to him to decide on but I need to be happy washing up.

~FlowerPot~, what do you mean “no decluttering” 🤨 You had a very successful morning of decluttering logs from the wrong place to the correct place 👏 & as you did it all on your own I am awarding you a medal 🏅 As to the other family members not lending a hand, I am putting them in the naughty corner…… of the garden & then sending them to bed without any supper 🤨
Yey thank you for my medal very kind!DH is currently excused due to his eye hemorrhage and not wanting it to happen again. The 3 munchkins have no excuse though!! But i must say, Ive given up even asking DS1 and DD as they are a waste of time when it comes to helping me with jobs especially if it outside!!!. DS2 on the otherhand has chopped up (with a hand axe) most of one tree and is now trained on the chainsaw to do the rest, so I can't complain with him really and he did come with me to the tip with the lean to carp that filled the car!!

Wow! So impressed with the huge decluttering and tidying going on. Also good to hear the people are resting from it as well. I've spent most of the weekend resting following my dental op yesterday. But have managed to send 4 books to the charity shop and also put a broken plastic book stand in the recycling15
