Feeling a lot better today so will clean the house, do some cooking for tonight's dinner (I'm making a fennel and leek risotto with lemon and thyme and 'greek style cheese' served with a rocket and edamame bean salad), pick up my grandbaby from school and spend a few hours playing 😍
I'm going to get a walk in tomorrow and start my asana and meditation practice again, being poorly for a few days has really highlighted how important it is to look after my health - I know that what I had was unrelated to my general health but thinking about how awful it would be to feel like that most of the time has renewed my desire to take complete control again!! I'm on a total mission from today to sort myself out! 😁DNF: £708.92/£1000

We both had a similar bug where we could not be bothered to do anything. And i mean anything. Strange one but only lasted a couple of days. We had stayed at a hotel which was full of american airmen and women so must have picked it up there I suppose. We dont generally mix a lot. I was glad when it was over as it was not nice with the brain fog we had with it.21k savings no debt3

House cleaned, dinner cooked, grandbaby collected, trains played with and now dinner eaten - next move is to sort the post-food kitchen chaos then get an early night!! 😁

I'm having a perfect slow living day today - I'm sitting in the garden in front of my little wildlife pond, surrounded by trees, listening to the waterfall, the birds and just taking in the sunshine, heat and breeze. I love reconnecting with nature and being totally in the moment ❤️ I feel so calm and at peace - completely at one with the universe 😁DNF: £708.92/£1000

Reports in Dorset that the Northern Lights might be visible about 90 minutes after sunset due to high solar activity. Not sure if that's true further north but it makes sense. Need a fairly cloudless sky of course.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. @Brie - lots of people out here last night looking for the lights, we were driving home late as we'd met a relative for drinks and it was busier on the roads around us than it normally is during the day!! 😳 We didn't see them unfortunately but we did watch a beautiful sunset from the pub beer garden....
Today we're back in the garden but I'll be doing stuff like weeding and planting - there's not too much to do though so I'll be spending plenty of time just taking in the sights, sounds and smells 😍
I cooked dinner for tonight yesterday before we left so it's just a re-heat and go situation- we're having balti style moong dhal, mango and coconut new potatoes, a variety of chutneys, mint raita and 'riced' carrot and apple salad.
Have a lovely slow weekend! 😁DNF: £708.92/£1000

I didn't see them either but will try again this evening. A local friend said they were brilliant at about 2:30am so I might need to set an alarm or get him to ring me.

I totally forgot to look for the lights last night. I will try tonight instead. It is so nice now it is warmer and we don't have to have the heating on.
A very slow day for me, I just put a load of clean washing outside on the line and I'm watching a YouTuber giving her review of the new Taylor Swift album. I wasn't that impressed with this new album as I find it a bit bland compared to Midnights.4 -
Hello all, I've been missing in action as I've been on jury service which was an interesting experience. Now back at work and time is roaring along. Only ten weeks left before I retire and also move house. Eek!
Have done some packing but more will be occurring tomorrow. I've also been swimming daily, knitting and hanging out with friends and family5 -
