@Umkomaas has told people umpteen times on this forum how to find out who owns the land, for an email complaint. The fact it's hundreds of miles away is irrelevant (unless it was in Scotland of course).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Coupon-mad: Not sure how I would know that Umkomaas has told people umpteen times, but thank you for letting me know.

If a retail park, check on any signage which lists the on-site outlets3. Ask retailers on the site if there is a managing agent4. Ask retailers on the site to whom do they pay rent5. Contact the local authority and ask who pays the non-domestic/business rate for the car park (some councils have a spreadsheet on their website)6. Contact the local Valuation Office and ask if they know. They often have a website which might provide the information7. Contact The Land Registry and for around £3 they should be able to provide definitive detail8. If you haven't already done so, give us the name of the car park/site/location, we may have seen other cases there.Posted by @Umkomaas3

Thank you, it is ... "Harvey Towan's Carpark, 13 Harvey Towans. Hayle, Cornwall TR27 5AS". The funny thing is I was there a few weeks prior ... it is pretty much a long dirt track up to more of the same in the middle of the dunes. Went in and straight back out though as wasn't suitable for me as a wheelchair user. Guess they make a killing during the summer season.1

I am currently away from home and struggling with poor internet ... just trying to get a search return on Google takes around a minute / other times just fails. I have not managed to find the landowner. I am also concerned / perhaps confused re. the issue date of the 9th Dec. and appeals must be made within 21 days ie. the 30th. I think that I read on another UK-CPM thread than Coupon-mad stated to appeal (even though it will fail) as this looks better should matters go to court or something, but then on this thread was told no? What do we do here? Get the appeal in even though Plan A ie. landowner / MP still yet to be done given guessing unlikely to get a resolution before the 30th? The PCN recipient is getting stressed and is wanting to just pay it.0

According to newspaper articles from last year this site is being developed by Corinthian Homes. There has been press coverage about the alleged removal of sand from the area.

Thank you GrannyKate. There is a great deal of building / development work going on around the quay area but I don't think that there is up at the car park area.0

Coupon-mad: I have asked about this several times but no reply or confirmation? Does the appeal need to be sent in before the 21 days or is their no point? I got the impression that whilst it will fail it is necessary. But then subsequent advice seemed to be forget that and contact the land owner and MP first.0

It may be worth contacting Corinthian because there were articles about parking. If this is the car park it has Corinthian on the signs

Cheers GrannyKate, it does look like they could well be the landowners.0
