De Install Bedroom Wardrobe, Is this Cam Lock Fitting Type...

My example is screwed underneath Top of Wardrobe.
Is this Cam Lock type, if so Why is this used and for what purpose as there's nothing above wardrobe.

    It holds two perpendicular panels together. 

    There can be few dowels as well.

    And the dowels might possibly be glued. If so, there's likely to be some damage when you separate the panels. But, they might not be.

    Do most cams have an indicator on them to show when they're fully undone? You can take it it'll be a half to 3/4 anticlockwise turn, Dandy, and the slot will be online with the pin. Looking at Grumb's example, it looks as tho' one slot is elongated, and pointed?

    until Jan, looks like there is arrow which I understand I'm unscrewing away from.
    Haven't tried yet, need to check Screwdriver set as the Screws are quite big.
    Is there such a thing as Star screwdriver for these type.
    I could attempt flat head if lucky from existing Screwdrivers.
    Those Star ones are much bigger than Phillips.

    Excellent I'll purchase a magnetic one early '24 as my manual screwdriver only turns 1st screw, doesn't grasp it to release.

    Falling via Homebase and Screwfix sites.
    PZ3 magnetic screwdriver , URL please if purchasable example.
    How many MM's are PH or PZ3 please I can check my current electric Drill bits.
