Help - Hanley Economic BS

Hi, I opened up a regular saver account with Hanley last Friday as a new customer & have been waiting for some paperwork to be received by post. I did get an email earlier from Hanley to activate my online account because I had a secure message from them - so I went ahead & clicked & my online account was apparently confirmed to my email - it then wanted me to reset my password ?? Which I did'nt do as the sign in page said it was Hanley but the web address was something else. I rang Hanley & told them I was confused about this process & about the email I received & I  was advised to wait until my paperwork arrived. Now my concern is when I click the link from that email it does not seem to take me to what is Hanley's site for logging in & it shows my email account as sign in. I'm very concerned as to what is going on - anyone else have this happen - is this normal? Should I be worried ?
