    Okay. How do you keep track of items with multiple steps or ideas? How do you post how you are doing - weekly, monthly? Do you do spread sheets or just a list and mark them off as they are completed. I understand about putting 1/24 after the entry when you have finished one step on it, 2/24 when you finish the second, and so on. But what is the best way to keep track  of things like" learn 24 "old school" ways of doing everyday things? Can you post some suggestions for this as it sounds intriguing? I have started a file in excel. For the items which involve listing what I have done, I have started a separate sheet for those with a list or where I want to go, read, or do, so I can remember. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Good old pen and paper is what I use. 

    I have my goals listed one per page in a notebook, and write down what I have completed on each page. 
    I then put in here whenever I get a chance to log on and read through the forum.  Last year I think it was about once a month or so.

    - I went back to Slimming World this week and got my starting weight. 
    7. Explore 24 Scottish villages / towns / cities I’ve never been to - Port Logan 
    8. Walk 2024km - 28.95km
    10.Save 24 of each coin / note domination - 2x10p, 4x20p, 2x£1, 1x£10, 1x£20  
    12. Buy 24 £20 gift cards to spend next Christmas - £20 Primark
    17. Complete 24 things on my master to do list - Wrote master to do list so at least that's something 
    20. Post 2024 photos on Instagram - 27 
    22. Go to

    Week 1 update from me...

    Not brilliant but not beating myself up over it. Plenty of time to get myself sorted. 
    Having some real issues with sleep since before Christmas and am struggling with it.

  • Update time! 

    ) 24 mins of housework daily - done but spread out over the day which wasn't the original plan!! 
    2) 24 mins of asana practice daily - not done 🤦‍♀️ haven't been able to get into it (I was going to do YWA's Breath series but I'm feeling so unfit/inflexible that the thought of it has become daunting 😔) I am starting tomorrow on the beginners 20 minute practice instead which is much more manageable for me at the moment 
    3) 24 mins of walking daily - not happened - local flooding has made it difficult/impossible but it has improved a lot over the past couple of days so hoping to start tomorrow 
    4) 24 mins of self-care daily - done! 
    5) 24 mins of writing daily - done! 
    6) 24 mins of gardening weekly - done on week one but not this week (unless I include planning/seed sorting 🤔) 
    7) 24 mins meditation weekly - done. I'm doing 5-10 mins per day as my monkey mind keeps rattling my head! It's getting easier though 😉
    8) 24 days of Italian practice monthly  - not done yet - I was phone free for a few days and tbh, I forgot about it the rest of them!! I'll start today....
    9) 24 days of strict WFPB eating monthly - I've done a number of days but I'm using stuff up this month so won't start this properly until February 
    10) £24 reduction of monthly grocery budget  - pretty sure that I'll manage this, I'm £5 under budget from week 1 which im really pleased with as I had to buy dishwashersalt, rinse aid, laundry liquid, fabric conditioner and kitchen roll!! 
    11) 24 alcohol free days monthly - a pathetic 2 days so far!! No excuses, I just haven't done well! 🤦‍♀️
    12) 24 NSD'S monthly - I'm on 11 so far 🙌
    13) 24 'home spa' days within the year - not started yet - had planned one but then was needed elsewhere so will start next week
    14) 24 tech free days within the year - these are going to be on my 'spa' days....
    15) 24 'out of the house' days within the year - first one booked for Wednesday!
    16) 24lbs lost within the year - haven't weighed in yet
    17) 24 new books read within the year - I'm starting the first one today while dh watches football 😉

    I did this a couple of years ago and really enjoyed doing it. I’ve pinched a few ideas from other posts as I’ve found it difficult to make up 24 but here goes

    1) 24 donations to local animal sanctuary. 1/24

    2) lose 24lbs in weight

    3) 24 jobs in the garden. Really want to attack the garden this year and do some work on it…..plus free exercise

    4) 24 ‘me time’ activities. As bestie pointed out recently I never put myself first 

    5) read 24 books

    6) save £2400

    7) save £240 on supermarket card for Christmas

    8) declutter 24 items from the house each month 11/Jan

    9) sell 24 items

    10) 24 activities with family/friends

    11) 240 minutes of volunteering each week 2/52

    12) At least 24 mins of housework a day

    13) At least 240 minutes of exercise a week 3/52

    14) At least 240 items to favourite charities for fundraising x 2.  110+20=130

    15) Use up 24 candles

    Popping by with my "mid-month" update.
    I've found I'm doing certain things more often than oters so I's going to change some of my list.

    1.     24 tech free evenings within 3 months/ per quarter - 1/24

    2.     Read 24 books - Started my 1st one this afternoon

    3.     Declutter 24 Christmas items not used anymore - COMPLETED - Decluttered way more than 24 items last week. 

    4.     Spend 24mins per day deleting photos, emails etc - have been doing this daily which surprised me.

    5.     24mins per week decluttering in attic - 2 sessions completed already.

    6.     Limit to 24 cans of coke per month - 10 cans so far this month which I'm chuffed with!

    7.     Sell 24 items - 3/24

    8.     Save 24 of each coin and note - Shall sort this tomorrow when I go to the cash machine and Post office.

    9.     Declutter 24 bin bags/boxes from the house. - 3/24.

    10.  Declutter 24 old cosmetics/toiletries not used or expired - 8/24

    11.  Loose 24lb in weight - Haven't actually weighed myself as of yet. A job tonight

    12.  Make 24 visits to my local church - will also pay my 1st visit tomorrow or Friday.

    13.  Complete 24 jigsaw puzzles/ Lego sets  - 0/24

    14.  24 minutes of gardening per week - Not started yet, I will this weekend.

    15.  Treat / do something for myself 24 times - 1/24 

    16.  Watch 24 films - 0/24

    17.  Make the 24th of each month a "Me" day - 0/24

    18.  24 outings with family this year - 1/24

    19.  Make or bake 24 things - 0/24

    20.  Learn 24 “old school” ways of doing everyday things - not so much a learnt thing but I sewed a pair of trousers at the weekend instead of throwing them out.

    21.  Burn 24 candles/wax melts this year - 1/24  My candles seem to be  ever ending lol.

    22.  Complete 24 puzzle/colouring books - halfway through my 1st puzzle book.

    23.  24mins doing my weighted hula hoop 5x per week - forgot about this so will start this evening. 

    24.  Do 24 jobs around the house that keep get putting off - 1/24



    A lot of my list I've said I'll do tomorrow.  

    We're out on strike tomorrow from work, and depending on the weather (snow or ice) I'll be out on the picket lines, but I intend to make a huge hole in my to do lists tomorrow and be productive lol.

    Am mulling over my list too, will be making some amendments…not doing the competitions or surveys as too time consuming. Some things are going really well, some I have to wait for growing season to start, some I am realising are not things I am happy with. 

    Treating it as a positive though as it’s showing me where I need to concentrate. Thank you for the thread.
