Did this 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed. I have since got into the very good habit of a food bank donation every week so I won't use that, and some I feel 'completed' and not needing repeated e.g. 21 flavours of icecream. I've had a good read of the excellent lists so far and come up with 21. Will have got full 24 by NYD. * is days I'm home as I travel a fair bit with work. - update, have discovered Dundee has 21 parks and named green areas so adding that for 22
    1 2024 km walking
    2 24 workout plans (each one's usually 2 weeks)
    3 24 documentaries
    4 24 non-fiction books

  • Ok so this is my new 2024 list.  It may change as it seems to "samey" to me, but a realistic list, and it's a start.

    1.     24 tech free evenings within 3 months/ per quarter.

    2.     Read 24 books.

    3.     Declutter 24 Christmas items not used anymore.

    4.     Spend 24mins per week deleting photos, emails etc

    5.     24mins per week decluttering in attic.

    6.     Limit to 24 cans of coke per month.

    7.     Sell 24 items.

    8.     Save 24 of each coin and note.

    9.     Declutter 24 bin bags/boxes from the house.

    10.  Declutter 24 old cosmetics/toiletries not used or expired.

    11.  Loose 24lb in weight.

    12.  Make 24 visits to my local church.

    13.  Complete 24 jigsaw puzzles/ Lego sets

    14.  24 minutes of gardening per week.

    15.  Treat / do something for myself 24 times.

    16.  Watch 24 films.

    17.  Make the 24th of each month a "Me" day.

    18.  Spend 24 minutes a day decluttering/cleaning.

    19.  Make or bake 24 things.

    20.  Learn 24 “old school” ways of doing everyday things.

    21.  Burn 24 candles this year.

    22.  Complete 24 puzzle/colouring books.

    23.  24mins doing my weighted hula hoop 5x per week.

    24.  Do 24 jobs around the house that keep get putting off.

The likes of the Christmas items, that will be done next Saurday when the tree comes down when Christmas is over.  It could also strectch into next Christmas lol.
I received a lot of Jigsaws, puzzle books, colouring books, candles, and a few Lego sets this Christmas.  So I could be doing Chrismas jigsaws and colouring until next Christmas lol.
I'm detertimed this year to become less dependant on technology.  We're a very old school house anyway, but have become to lazy this while back.  So I would like to ditch technology more and become more hands on and productive. I'll start with 24 tech free evenings over the 1st 3 months, just to see if it's manageable. I may update it to per month if possible.
I'm a terrible drinker of Coke and Fanta, I can drink up to 2-3 cans per day, so I would really like to cut that down to at least 24 cans per month. I would prefer less than that but I'll aim for that target for now.

I'm off work for another week, so I'll be starting my list from tomorrow as It means I can get a head start on some things as once I'm back at work I may feel less focused or energetic lol ( I work in a school)
    Pay all debt off by Christmas 2024 £537/£3,500£1 a day challenge 2024 - £91/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2024 6/52Lose 24lb - 3/24lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 7/100%
  • It’s taken some time but here is my 2024 list, some are certainly more achievable than others. I think it’s pretty unlikely we’ll get 24 date nights as we only managed 2 this year, but anything more than that is an improvement! I think I’ll also struggle with the money ones as everything is so tight at the moment but I’d like to try.

    1.     Read 24 books

    2.     24 days in a month of sticking to a meal plan

    3.     Meet extended family at least 24 times for meals or days out in 2024

    4.     Earn £2,024 from a side hustle this year

    9.     Have 2 screen free evenings as a family every month

    10.  Walk 2 miles twice a month

    11.  Have 2 admin days a month

  • Some great ideas coming in (I may steal a few as I'm not completely happy with my list!) @IrishRose12 don't get me started on the colouring books, this is something I really enjoyed but completely fell by the wayside, so I might do something around this. Also like you @StickyTheStickInsect I think I managed 3 out of our 23 date nights in 2023 so I'm not sure if this will make the final list this year as we've spoken about it and we're happy doing things with our girls, so think this slot maybe better utilised with something else on the productivity front in my case 🤔
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same
  • May I join too please? a I sort of did a 23 in 2023 list and haven’t done too badly on it BUT loving some of the ideas on the lists posted already. My two biggest goals for 2024 are to lose quite a bit of weight and there is plenty to lose🤣 and to stop spending money needlessly.

Will post my list soon as want to think about real goals.
