I hope you both get well soon.0 -
This device (without hub) communicates with your phone by bluetooth, but is not shown in the list of bluetooth devices.
The SwitchBot app on your phone finds the device quickly and displays the temperature and humidity.
The 68-day memory data is stored in the device, but only downloads to your phone when the app is open and connected. On the front page, you tap on the temperature display to connect the device to the phone.
In my case, I had not done this for 35-days and had to wait an hour for the rather slow data transfer to update the graph.
I now connect more frequently to be able to have recent data to export to Excel.
If you just open the app to view the outside temperature, (as I did) you will not have access to the historical data.

What he said, although I haven't left them more than a couple of days so far.
They've been on offer for a while but the offer seems to have ended at the moment. There are some similar cheaper versions, I don't know how they'd stack up against these.0 -
Fortunately our local university runs a weather station (around 2km from our house) where live readings can be accessed via a webpage. So no hardware needed. A quick google finds:
https://wow.metoffice.gov.uk/
which will give you readings in numerous different locations.

I have Switchbot with the hub and several sensors and it works very well. If you have Alexa and name them then you can ask eg what is the garden temperature. I got mine as a black Friday offer so it was a good price and have since bought more sensors when they were on offer.

Hi all,
I'm a keen gardener and I'm wondering if there's a rain and temp gauge that is digital like this one, but at a cheaper price - Amazon.com : Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station with WiFi Remote Monitoring and Alerts : Patio, Lawn & Garden (one that is UK based).
I don't understand anything that's technical, so I'll have to have something that's easy, and fool-proof to use. The ones already mentioned in this thread doesn't specify rain/precipitation levels (unless I missed something there).0 -
I've bought weather station spares from this company.
I've always had very good service.

Hi everyone, sad to say still haven’t set up hydrometer as my dad is very poorly at the moment. What wanted to know is I have a la crosse weather station the external sensor has failed I can buy another one, but wanted to ask has anyone seen a weather station that give the highest 24hr temp, did have one that stuck on a window but failed. If it is worthwhile purchasing another external sensor or buy a completely new one.0
