Help please. I have 3 parking tickets, 1 going to court @ £270.80 and 2 @ £170.

You must attend.
Get there early, get some breaths of fresh air outside for 10 minutes (firstly dose up and dress warmly!) and then go in a good half hour before your hearing time to get through security and to sign in with the usher.
Take a seat in the waiting area, get some water and tell their rep to stay away from you! Do not discuss your case with their rep. Polite 'no, and I'm ill so stay back!'. Don't let them push you to go home. They'll try anything to trick you.
If you don't turn up you risk being considered unreasonable and will likely be clobbered with their rep's three figure costs on top of the claim - about £500 all told, is at risk.
You'd lose by default and lose big. Don't do it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
