I can’t help with the court side of things, but in the event that you do lose then if you pay straight away it’s not going show up on your credit history, if that is what is worrying you.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

How many threads do we now have about this one parking incident?
Please get your threads merged if they are all about the same incident.
You cannot expect people to leap all over the place looking for background detail.

What does "I’ve finally got my court date" actually mean?

Does it mean that you now have a Notice of Allocation?

Is there not a paragraph on it something like:
Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].
    Might be on the back.
Those 'documents on which you intend to rely' are your Witness Statement and evidence.

So what is your deadline to file and serve your Witness Statement and evidence?

Apologies Keith I’m new to the forum and not got any knowledge of how to merge threads etc etc etc

Finally my court date means that I think. The letter says this is the date when your hearing will take place and at the court I choose and what time

I don’t recall the letter saying that statement. I remember it saying you must sent the eveidence statement of which you rely on on this date which was one date from my court date. I cab check the exact letter when I get home

    “Might be on the back.
Those 'documents on which you intend to rely' are your Witness Statement and evidence” 100% sure the letter said this

So what is your deadline to file and serve your Witness Statement and evidence?
    unfortunately that was today

Report this thread using the report button under the first post, asking the mse admin to merge it with any previous threads on here by youregarding the same case, and apologise for causing them extra admin work

Get the WS done tonight and email it to the local court and to the Claimant or lawyers, ASAP, definitely by tomorrow

You should have had the WS bundle from the lawyers or claimant by now too

A typical deadline is 2 weeks before the hearing

Once its done, study other recent cases from nervous defendants too , like this one

And if not, just do it tomorrow.

And did you get a copy of their WS? If not, they've probably discontinued!

So its a bundle which includes Exhibits, part of this stage of the process

Yours would include Exhibits etc, plus your narrative etc

Examples by other victims are linked in the newbies sticky thread in announcements
