Email sent and now I wait
Next milestone is the trial fee deadline of 4pm 12th December 2024
It didn't send properly earlier but have just sent it on now. I received an auto reply from DCB but not the courts email. Hoping that there isn't the issue of emailing after 4pm like there was with the other emails at prior stages0 -
Sorry just to check do we usually get auto replies from the court email addresses? Tried calling earlier but had to hang up for work after half hour or so0
-
Not from local courts, no. As long as you sent it to their hearings email and to the county court (not Crown Court) then it is in. But I would phone them to check, and to ask if they received a WS bundle also from the Claimant in the case?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yep sent to enquiries.northampton.countycourt@justice.gov.uk - thanks - I will try to call them again soon.0

Spoke to them, all received ok. They just said check back day after trial fee deadline to see if they’ve paid it as it’ll be struck out if not (not paid it as of yet).2

@paddyposh Just had my hearing which was with Spring/Alan Vorland. Be prepared for him not to show up as the witness and make a point if he does not.
He didn't for mine and the judge was so annoyed at this, given it was virtual and he had plenty of time to be able to take part. The fact he put in his witness statement that he might not be able be able to come made it even worse. Point this out and that the face you wanted to cross examine him about who he actually is as quite a big main point5 -

Annoyingly they have paid the trial fee, just rang up to check. Was really hoping they wouldn't. Now to wait for the hearing in January I guess.1

Going to get some bits printed out to take with me so i'm prepared.
Even though they have paid their fee and submitted their WS, is there still chance from anyones experience they may discontinue? Or more likely it will go ahead0 -
Given @Pat_Burger had a hearing, I think yours will go ahead too.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
