More underhand shenanigans from the parking industry, designed to make life harder for the victims. How, prey tell, do they know that there was an email, if it was not delivered hmmmmm?
I thought that too, given it wasn't an auto response... just concerned they'll do the same with the DQ, espically given it took them a whole month

I'm not too sure how I should send BWL a copy of my DQ. I looked through the forum here and someone suggested disputeresolution@bwlegal.co.uk which is the email address I used for both PCNs at the LBC stage back in July last year. I got a response over a month later from BWL (coming from parking@bwlegal.co.uk), ignoring my request to put the case on hold saying this email was no longer a valid way to contact them as they're "changing the way they communicate with customers". They referred me to use their webform, saying my email was undelivered.

But you're not a customer, so it doesn't apply.

Ah I understand. Could I just send it to both their "disputeresolution" and "parking" emails to cover myself? As long as I have proof I sent it (regardless if they do the same thing again) I should be okay?

I found the link in relation to my question about which court to put by the way (p5/6): https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/cqkwa5rbqsostoan5inyf/Judgments.pdf?rlkey=kf40o46syu06v0xn6dos59cat&e=1&dl=0

Says "County Court of Norwich" at the top but was struck out at Ipswich's 'hearing centre'. Am I right in thinking this is a case where paperwork would be sent through Norwich (say if if got to the WS stage) - so in theory putting down Ipswich on the DQ is fine?

Yes it's only a DQ.  Doesn't matter really!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi all,

Received the usual “response to your defence” in from BWL today but in this case thought their incompetence was worth sharing - in particular with the POC argument… where they claim that they DID state the car park location!  :D

    Yay!

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

And another judgment for @Le_Kirk to add to the strike outs PDF to help others.

    Hi all

It's been a long while - and I thought this was long gone and over. But today I recieved two letters from "Oak Legal Services" who were instructed by Ipserv to collect £170 for each - or they'll advise Ipserv to take me to court… again! I dealt with Trace the first time round at the "debt collector" stage…

One of these is for one of the charges in the claim that got struck out above…!

The other is for the third charge I mentioned a few posts above (that was separate). The last I heard of that one was a couple threatening letters from BW back in 2024… nothing since. It's like the process has gone backwards.
I don't remember much with what happened with getting that third charge (I'll have to dig the NTK out) - but I'm willing to fight that one (and I'll start another thread for that if it gets that far)

I know as per the Newbies thread you ignore them at the "debt collector" stage, which is fine. But, what should I do given one they're chasing was already struck out…? 🙄

    TIA
