We're almost there - almost. We took out a mortgage of £105k in Dec 2016. Didn't start overpaying until 2019.- Overpayment of £3000 in July 2019- Then Overpayments of £10500 every year since- Additional overpayments of many thousands also done with ERC fees added (I don't care - just wanted to get rid of the mortgage). So far £63k overpayments done and our outstanding balance is ~£12760.This October 1 (5 weeks away). I'm overpaying £10.5k and then the rest and I will hopefully be done by October 2nd.Hardly any holidays taken, no fancy summer visits. Living like a stingy family for 5 years has allowed us to be in this position.3

My ISA interest rate has dropped so I have decided to withdraw some and max out my over payment for this year, Will count as capital payment so will reduce monthly payments but I won't be carrying this the full term anyway so minimal impact.
So additional 3150 added to this month total

Was hoping to clear 1K, but don't want to "rob Peter". My interest rate has now increased by 3.5x, decided not to fix as hoping to clear ASAP.
