- According to the letter, I'm eligible for mediation. So I'm assuming I should opt for this and hope it gets resolved and I don't have to attend court?
- I need to pay the court fees tomorrow by 4pm, it's not much but my Dad is a pensioner, is it even worth applying for, it's only £27 and deadline is tomorrow.
You don't have to opt for anything - but your father does.
You don't have to attend court - but your father does.
With the greatest respect on helping your father, but please remember - it's not your case.2 -
I'm only using the word 'I' on here because 'I' was the one who got the ticket and so have been dealing with everything. But on the official docs, I'm using the terms 'driver', 'keeper' 'Defendant'. So you are correct, point taken, thanks..1

And Mediation phone call stage is already explained in the Template Defence thread with two links telling everyone exactly what to say (and Dad can nominate you to take that call).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I assumed everything in the letter was addressed to me, and it was in bold so it was the thing that caught my eye.0

Hi, I've updated my fathers WS. It's mostly done except for a few exhibits (Blue badge, POFA, VCS vs Edward), and some annotations. I'm in the process of writing up my WS (the driver). I'm planning to make mine have more of a story, as I was the one who was present on the day. My fathers one is more generic. Will upload mine tomorrow. I would appreciate any feedback.

Is it ok if WS is shorter than my fathers. I'm trying not to repeat myself. Secondly, could there be a chance that on the day in court, UKPC come with further CCTV evidence to dispute i've stated, e.g. my mother being with me?0
-
Courts dont allow late evidence or ambushes
No repeating, doesn't matter whose is the longest, but he must submit a bundle before the deadline2 -
I would expect your WS to be shorter.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
