I have reattached the letter. I have now also emailed Subway again and also emailed the MD of Subway.

I am not sure what I can do here. Will I go to court? I am just worried.

Sorry for the delay. So when I got the letter above advising I owe £182. I wanted to appeal to essentially explain that I have emailed Subway, I have emailed the boss of Subway and not had any response.

The letter I got back is this. The amounts are different so it does feel like they are just being chancers and chasing up old tickets to scare me into paying?

    No worries. Let them sue.

Read the CEL defence case being discussed today. or last week's one, or the week before that! We defend v CEL all the time and win. Nothing to worry about at all.

Easy to defend & win (no risk, nothing difficult) if your efforts to get the (usually easy) landowner cancellation fall on deaf ears.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do you think they will take me to court?

Where is the CEL defence case? Do you have a link please?

It is contained within the standard template defence, a sticky post on the front page of the forum.

No links.  I'd have to search, same as you! That's why I said read this week's, last week's... whichever ones you fancy reading in your search results as long as you change the order to NEWEST results.

THIS IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

If you read the second post of the NEWBIES thread you'll know there's no risk to defending a claim.

Yes of course they'll try a small claim and yes of course you'll win.  This is when the scam ends.  You'd know this and be confident if you'd searched the forum and read a few CEL threads!

Paying it to make it go away is NOT an option.  No-one here pays a penny to CEL.
