I don't understand how we are consuming so much energy

  • As you.must be spending a fortune on energy I'd be tempted to pay a heating engineer to come round and explain everything. They should be able to identify the big usage.

When was your boiler last serviced. If it was a while ago get somebody to do the service and explanations in one hit
Yes. I think I will have to go down this route. This is definitely unsustainable.

To switch off the immersion heaters, follow the wires that come out of the 'top hat' bulges on the Megaflow and make sure the associated switches are turned off.
  • Also stop heating the outdoor swimming pool to 70oC (this is partially a joke......you dont have a swimming pool do you 😂😂)

No... no pool, no hot tub, no electric aga, no wine cooler, no sauna/steam room, really nothing remotely interesting...

18.8 on the day, 5 on the night on average, So it is active usage somewhere, not that 5 overnight is 'good', Will the car computer say how much you have put in it last month?

So 9,800kwh a year average that will now rise with an EV. What company are you with and the tarrif, you should probably look at Octopus Tracker, or Go.

The Tapo P110 smart plug with energy monitoring, is the forum fave, Likely suspects is the freezer, tv's and any tv boxes.

The Solar it seems is only a 1.5-2 kwh peak system? And you aren't getting the credit for it, only the self use benefit, but with your usage your probably using most of it anyway.
