    A heads-up  -  you don't "appeal" to PALS  -  you "complain".

And you will never have to pay this so there will be no 'sobeit'!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.

Wondering how you got on with this ticket?

I have just got the exact same ticket. I pulled to the side after leaving the car park so I could set my Satnav before pulling out into the busy London traffic.

I was stopped for 90 seconds. Nobody left the car or entered the car.

Seems that this 'charge' is essesive in my opinion!
You haven't resurrected an old thread (unless you have changed your username and you used to be @tah_11) you have hi-jacked a thread.  Please start your own thread where you will receive bespoke advice.  It gets confusing answering two issues on same thread!
  • Jeez.. This forum has some characters in it..

I wasn't asking for advice at all.. I was asking whether the original poster had got their issue resolved. I shared my story for context, but didn't ask for advice.

Advice came though.. Patronising as it was.

You will be glad of the extra advice if it means that you don't receive any more PCNs from private parking companies in the future,  but I am not hopeful because you dont want the extra free advice offered to you

Sometimes its better to accept the extra medication provided due to you not understanding the symptoms of your ills, regardless of whether you asked for it or not

Clearly the OP is not answering you,  so the rest are gifts of wisdom from veterans here, all advice is good for a topic,  regardless of if it was asked for or not

You will be glad of the advice we give if or when more PCNs arrive from retail parks, hotels,  hospitals,  supermarkets etc

Yes, characters who give their time, experience, and advice for free, 24/7/365.

The OP has not visit the site/forum for almost a year. Sadly, many posters do not return to let us know how they got on. You could try sending a private message to the OP to ask for an update.

If you want advice on how to get your own parking charge cancelled, you should start a new thread from scratch.

  • I don't want and didn't need advice. I'm not an idiot.

Advice is far more useful when the receiving party is looking for advice otherwise it starts to sound like a lecture.

I am sure there are many people here who come seeking advice and are grateful for advice received, but probably best to make sure advice is what is needed. If not then no need to get involved.

My question was to the OP. Your latest response about them not being on the forum for almost a year and a prompt to start my own thread should I need some advice would have been the perfect first response.
