Do you have savings round up enabled on Chase? Check that account too.
Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.
  •  There are three transactions showing for Poundland.

Was one of the others for £7.50? It may have been delayed in processing.

Well that shows he or she clearly goes there regularly, so could have had it sorted by now by, erm, going in again.

This seems more likely than an error in processing.

Why? This community acts in the spirit of co-operation, if there is any learning we'd be grateful to hear it.

  • I was in £land this morning, and when I asked the woman on the till she said that the ‘suggested donation’ that comes up before you enter your pin is £1.50.
I'm unsure about my spine, I think it's holding me back.

That's interesting ... we now need a guinea pig ... do they sell those in Poundland?  :D.

(I couldn't see it being an earlier transaction as presumably the Chase app is showing the transaction time.)

Should go on the till receipt really if that is what they are doing.

Donation towards which cause exactly? I think this is a sneaky tactic by retailers that should be outlawed. When you complete a transaction you want to pay and get the hell out, so this kind of opportunistic request is likely to get a push on the green button before it is read properly.
