Ready For My Fresh Start

Options
Hello to anyone that reads this!

Today has been an exhausting day of talking to debt agencies and directly with some companies who still own the debts (which the thought of caused me no end of anxiety) so I thought I'd finish off my day of 'bravery' by finally signing up to this forum.

So... fresh start. Pending all the final bits going through I'll be moving to a different county in the New Year for various reasons including being closer to my family and general cheaper cost of living. In order to do that, I had to get my last few ducks in a row with payment plans to show I'm managing my debts which gave me the proper kick up the behind that I needed. All credit reports scoured and as of now all bar one (that I cannot work out what account it is and the debt agency don't know either even though it's on the credit report under their name) I have at the bare minimum completed the Income & Expenditure forms they wanted me to do first, others I am just waiting for email confirmation of the payment plans.

I can't remember the last time I had the full picture of my financial situation, I've always been aware there's probably a few in the background I should make contact with at some point but here I am now looking at a shiny new spreadsheet with absolutely everything on it - and that makes me quite happy! (Sad, I know)

I'll get round to popping figures onto here or in a signature soon enough, but just wanted to say hi to everyone and get my first post out here  :)

  • Afternoon MSE Land

All payment plans bar one that I'm still waiting for confirmation to be emailed through for, are with my new employer, once I have that last one I should finally get my formal job offer then I can hand in my notice with my current employer. Currently requested a callback AND in a live chat queue to get that last one sorted!

I'll write a longer post tomorrow before work hopefully, but for now I've got some chasing to do and I believe I'm allowed to add a signature now so off to do that :)
