Wait until you receive a blank N180 from the CNBC (then you could download one from t'internet to fill in on-line) and send by e-mail to the same address that you used for your defence (assuming this is a standard defence and not a set-aside) and correct, send to claimants in the same e-mail and copy yourself.

This is all in the first 12 steps of the Template Defence thread, including a heads up about the delay.

What does your MCOL history say? I think the time has come for you to download a copy, as the Template Defence 'first 12 steps' says.

very normal.  I assume you are top of your mail and there is no way you have missed anything.

Ideally you would be able to login again to MCOL (although understand you had a problem there) as you can track the history while its at CNBC (i.e. it will tell you if and when the court send the N180).  If that's not possible and you have any doubts you could always email CNBC to check, although they wont respond very quickly.

  • Hi, After hearing nothing for over 2 years I’ve received a general form of Judgement or Order. They sent it to my old address and now I only had a day to respond and send a N180. I have completed the new N180 and emailed both the CNBC and sent to DCB legal. There was a section about mediation that I hadn’t seen before. What can I expect now and should I do anything else?

I hope that you downloaded the N180 DQ pdf document from the government website and filled that in , not the paperwork that arrived in the post. ? No paperwork, no scans, no emails, just the pdf. ?

Email claim progression with your new current address and also the info@ email address for DCB LEGAL and confirm your new address for the service of papers, to stop paperwork going to your old address ( I assume that you cannot login to MCOL to make the changes. ? )

Follow the mediation stage advice in the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum, same as everyone else

Are you saying you've moved since 2024 and didn't tell the CNBC? That's flirting with a CCJ because your case was always potentially 'live'.

You must ensure the CNBC and the solicitors are told to ERASE the old address as it is NOT to be used for service of documents. Provide your new address too of course but use those phrases.

And we hope you did NOT scan or take photos of the N180. You cannot do that.

I never thought to update my address. I had a lot of loss over the last 2 years and thought them having my email address was enough. I also had a redirection in place for my mail. I filled and downloaded the official N180 and sent this to CNBC and to DCB legal. I put in the email to CNBC about my change of address but I didn’t stress this to DCB legal. The PCN was issued in 2019 and it feels like this will never end.
