Met Parking Claim form/Stansted Starbucks McDonalds

Hi, I have a claim of £313.04 against me from Met Parking. I've already gone online and said I'm defending this claim but now my stress has got the better of me and I'm in a blind panic as I'm concerned about getting a CCJ. I've looked at some previous threads and it seems I should send a defence based on a template provided? I don't believe it will fit in the online defence box. Can I print and send it directly via the post to them now, or is it too late for this?
The issue date is the 22nd of November and I did ask for more time to defend.
The PCN was issued on 02/11/2019 and I wasn't driving but my wife and children who had used this car park many times needed the toilet and some food and went to McDonald's whilst probably parked near Starbucks. My wife had no idea of boundaries and my youngest was desperate for the loo. I'm considering paying the amount claimed just to make this go away but it feels wrong. I apologise if I've put this discussion in the wrong place but I've only just joined MSE.

Hello and welcome.
It looks like you have Acknowledged Service of the Claim.
Can you please tell us when you did that?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer.
You have not put anything in the wrong place.
No need to panic, you have a few weeks to file a Defence.1 -
I'm having a terrible time with this
. I now can't get back into the moneyclaim.gov.uk site as I couldn't remember my password and it keeps taking me back to the government gateway site. 0 -
I went on the MCOL on Saturday 25th November and told them I was defending and put my details in. I got as far as the online defence part.0

All I seem to do is get to the MCOL login page and then can't get past the login/Register part0

No worries, because you will be emailing your defence, as the Template Defence tells you. MCOL is no longer needed.menounderstand said:I'm having a terrible time with this

Do you still have the PCN from 2019? Show us both sides if you have the 'notice to keeper'.
And show us the bottom half of the claim form but cover your VRM and MCOL password.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Unfortunately I have nothing that relates to the original PCN as all was thrown away by mistake, I only have a DCBL final reminder left0

OK but that's not the only thing I asked to see.
