You've seen this site ? - Chronos 2 is mentioned - but not CD ?
https://upgrades.pure-audio.com/uk
I successfully upgraded my Siesta & Classic one to DAB+ a month or two back using this site to update the software
Just part of the process .... those numbers will be specific to my device ID

This is the link to the manual. It has one mention of DAB+ in the specs which I assume is careless copying and pasting from the spec list of another model.

bob_a_builderYes seen that site or page rather in the PURE website. On entering my serial number it comes up with an error message of sorts and so I had to contact PURE. They then tell me that my device cannot be upgraded despite actually having an upgrade port and instructions how to do so within the manual. There are two Chronos 2 devices, one with a CD and the other which takes an iPhone. So Chronos 2 is for the family.Thanks.

outtatuneWell if you look at the second page I posted further back with a picture of the Chronos 2 you will see the DAB+ symbol is included along within the name of the product the words EU/UK. Its a UK product, the advertising says DAB+, the manual says DAB+ but it isn't without an upgrade and PURE just aren't interested, apart from suggesting I buy a new radio from them. Thanks

In my home now, there are no radios. I'm a fanatical radio listening, but Alexa is in all my rooms, including the bathroom. Not only can I change radio station whilst in the bath, I can alter the heating or the lighting. I can even answer the door. If Radio Bongo somewhere in Africa is DAB+, then I can get it via smart speaker.
What about in the car?

What about in the car?I'm quite happy with the DAB radio in my car, sadly Mrs B only has FMAnyway - how do I add Alexa to my car? And then make it work whilst driving through the Welsh mountains where there's no mobile signal?1 -

Looking at the manual for the earlier version it says that non UK models have DAB+1 -
PHKPlease.....I can assure you that it is at least 10 years old. The Series 2 was first produced around 2010 and replaced the series 1 which was a similar device but in a black and silver case.My point though that the documentation I received did not differentiate DAB and DAB+ as being available on different models depending on where you bought them.John0

PHKJust look at this review. It says produced 2009.It says DAB+.There are other reviews too for the same device but with a dock for an iphone.Note again 2009. Note again DAB+.John

My point is that there is more than one version of the series II. With different model numbers but not model names.
I accept your point as to how it was advertised.0
