@KeithP hope you are well
I did get a few (or maybe more than a few) parking tickets. Glad to have gotten 1 so they aren't lonely - found them a home with all the other recycling.
It seems to have stopped now though. I have been getting letters for other incidents, Gemini also, for non-payment - but blue badge holders are free and I did sign in with reception so not concerned about that.1 -
I have now received a county court claim. I need to respond within 14 days0

A blue badge is not applicable to private parking it is only displayed as a courtesy to save the PPC effort, you informed the shopping centre at the time, and confirmed with the PPC after the event, (that was the right thing to do) but as usual the dimwits ignore the appeals process in their quest to bank money!A court, if it gets there is the best place to sort this rubbish out.1

I never actually got to appeal to PPC - only a short while after they issued it (a out 35 days) they send it to debt collection, quite fast to be honest!
And I was away for 2 weeks and then the family (including myself) were ill for a month!0 -

Ok sorry, however you logged in with the centre, they should tell the Muppets to cancel their silly game which Equality Act trumps

What is the Issue Date on your Claim Form?
Can you please show us a picture of the Particulars of Claim - with personal detail hidden of course.
Who is the Claimant?
Have you filed an Acknowledgment of Service?
If so, upon what date did you do so?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.

Hey, thanks for the help.
The issue date is 2024-09-11.
I have not yet filed an AOS - will do that on 2024-09-16.
I've attached the particulars of the claim below.

I've attached the particulars of the claim below. With a Claim Issue Date of 11th September, you have until Monday 30th September to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 14th October 2024 to file a Defence. That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence. You need to be aware that those Particulars of Claim are totally inadequate.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
So it is alleged that the driver 'parked in breach of the terms of parking stipulated on the signage (the contract)'.
Nowhere in those Particulars is there any explanation of what the driver is alleged to have done wrong.
This will be an easy win.5 -

Use the alternative defence with the Chan images, that I link in the third paragraph instructions in the Template Defence thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
