Sounds like a great plan to work in the light. I love the colour of the chair that is so nice hopefully the room will turn out just as you imagined when you get the delivery. Can your daughter help you with some of the putting away into cube jobs. I seem to remember her being good at that. At least it would not feel such a big job or you can just take your time. Also think about advertising for a cleaner again that also seems to work for you.

Thanks KK, TG and Lucielle.
Been making very slow progress decluttering and organising and giving things homes. Still look like I've been burgled despite that happy with the decision.
Struggling MH wise. Probably burnout. I think though the change once complete will lighten the mental load. I may try and speak to GP as I have been struggling for a while. My insomnia feels chronic.
TG I need help but from the right person only. Not got that available right now. If I can get this area straight then I will explore the cleaner idea again.
Struggling to read at the moment. Mostly getting the computer to read to me.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a touch of burnout in your mix atm. You’ve had a lot going on over recent months - house move, trying to get settled in the house, illness in your family, your daughter moving out, work changes etc. in the midst of losing your really compatible to you and kind cleaner and handyman. Be gentle with yourself.Hope the doctor can help and you get clarity on the work situation sooner rather than later.KKAs at 15.07.25:

Everything's much worse when there's a lack of sleep involved, so it's definitely worth speaking to the GP"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4

Sorry to hear your are struggling. Lack of sleep makes things worse. Hope you can see your GP soon. Does your employer have an Employee Assistance Programme that you can self-refer to?3

Thanks guys. Had a couple of days off sick. Saw a lovely GP. Blood test today. Had more bad news at the weekend.
Some positives
Seeing counsellor again tomorrow but will be in person for the first time since my move.
Will use my regular saver when it matures this week to reduce down my CC.
My art group was good and I am improving. I have booked to go again this week. Starting to learn names of some regulars.
Had a meal out with DD.
Have started my Xmas shopping.
Pay award for April now settled so will get back pay just before Xmas. Hopefully I can then either top savings back up or use to clear more of 0% CC.
Seeing my youngest sis at the weekend as it's a little ones birthday. DD may also go.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
