Thanks KK, WD, Beanie, Blackcats and Skint
I did the first exam. Asked her about the second. She said I wasn't showing on the system. So I tried to rebook for a different day but it said I was already booked - so after logging a ticket and sending an email to the right person I was sent some of the relevant codes for the exam after it should have started!! That added to the drama of the day. Luckily my exam clock didn't start until it was all sorted. Exams went well and I passed both at around the 80% mark (pass rate was 50%) so really happy with that. I've received both certificates already - but still need to update my online profile with the badges.
It boosted my confidence as there have been times recently I wondered if my brain was going on permanent vacation!! Taking the second ADHD med has made a huge difference - just half a tablet - but it has been enough that my brain is back in gear. Such a relief!!
I still need to explore the free courses I got. I have a lot of work coming my way soon - but it is not quite here yet so I want to make best use of time in the interim. Hopefully once that work is allocated it should secure my job for another 18-21 months but only time will tell. I was asked for by name by a couple of senior people at the 'to be' organisation so that sounds promising. It gets me closer to my remortgage date (end 2026) which is my next key date after my next birthday (which would then entitle me to unreduced pension if made redundant).
I've added this weekend's hours to my timesheet and put in an expense claim for just over £80 today. I'm finally back in flexi credit!! I need to update my finances though after this weekend's spends but c'est la vie.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
