Is the cat sitting company nationwide? My sister could use a reliable person3
-
I don’t know what it is like in englandshire but up here people advertise for personal assistants to help them with tasks they cannot do due to disabilities.
the other option would be to get an organiser to establish a structure that works for you3 -
Glad you have sorted the cat out I could not put mine in a cattery and opens up some lovely opportunities for short breaks etc for you.
I loved reading how you envisaged things 3 years ago and how you now have the view and the new house. I agree with the others you need some sort of assistance different to a cleaner and personal assistant does seem to fit the bill. I honestly find all of mine on a very local Facebook group people are so helpful with recommendations. Have you joined any or is there are local Whatsapp group?

Thanks Beanie, Skint, Jwil, DIA, BC, TG and WD
The cat sitting service is via a national one P*wsh*ke with an a in the gaps. I like the idea of the extra jobs BC. Will see how things develop there.
On the FB group - I'll have a think about it. My handyman is active on it - so I don't want to post things he could do and offend. The cleaning agency haven't said they've found anyone yet for this week so doubt they will send anyone but still hoping. I need to pay their fee this weekend.
I had fun with paint yesterday. At one point I scraped off some of the paint as I'd put too much on and it had gone muddy but I seem to have rescued it. It was pouring type paint and is still drying. I put the leftover paint into a water bottle with lid so I can potentially use it another time. I'd used a plastic sand pit to catch the paint in and reduce the mess.
Despite the play - because I listened to a story for hours at the same time and after - my head was too full at bedtime and I either didn't sleep or had weird dreams. The last one had people with extremely long, swirly, cartoon noses in it which was also kind of funny. Someone had done something they shouldn't have and the culprit was identifiable because of their nose. There were also hospital rooms in the dream - not sure if that related to me or my relative.
I need to sort out day insurance for DS for 2 days so he can drive my car. Really looking forward to seeing him. We haven't decided what to do specifically because we did the more obvious tourist traps last time - but that adds flexibility. I also want to fill up with fuel before I go away although it is about 2/3 full currently - the price is cheaper here typically. I should check out the route too as it will be my first time going from here.
I am over-eating this week - not helped by the fact my scales need new batteries... and I've been eating cake and other snacks which is also risky from a fat % perspective (and my recent illness). I'd bought some pre cut up veg - so made a bolognese sauce the night before - and made two thirds into chilli. It was tasty - looking forward to having more later. I ate fruit too yesterday - strawberries, grapes, mango, pineapple and melon (I'd bought a mini platter with the last 3 on and had half). I also had scrambled egg with some cheese.
It would feel too busy to try and fit into next week but I'd like to go to Keswick again. I came across lots of photos of it while sorting last week. It's one of my safe / reset places and where I realised I wanted a divorce! I'd also like to go to Bodnant - and if the weather is kind I may do that Tuesday.
I had an NSD yesterday so that was positive.

I've spent quite a lot of today on video calls and am utterly exhausted now. Grateful still on an hour less a day. Just one day phased return left then back to full time but 3 days off next week and the bank holiday the week after should help. I wore my makeup today and was complimented by a couple of people on my weight loss.
I need to do some washing before I go away. Will do that and refuel tomorrow evening. I still need to post my pension form too. It's been raining here most of today though so no incentive to go out.
I currently have a £5 cash pot at Mr A which is nice. I also have a £12 off £60 spend at Mr S. Need to check the dates.
I may do a little more painting in a bit or may see if there is a film to watch. Really, really tired. May have jacket spud, prawns and salad in a bit.

I hope you manage to get your days out. I'm amazed that you have to post your pension forms, it seems such a faff that some companies still expect it. Thanks Beanie, WD and Jwil
Yesterday I found the screwdriver set and a battery and my scales are now working again and I'm at my lowest weight so far this year. Given I ate far more chocolate yesterday than planned that was a pleasant surprise.
I hung a couple of pictures yesterday which was also an NSD. Sent another £25 to savings today. I've sent £450 to my CC this week.

Still not had anything from my helpers on my review. Feeling pretty unsupported but they have lots of valid reasons.
Just arranged temp insurance for DS for tomorrow and Sunday on my car for £40.
Done one load of washing today - now in TD. Will pack once it's done.
Still need to go and buy fuel. Want to top up cat litter too.
I took £700 out of savings today and sent it to my CC as I was getting stressed by the rising balance. That will also help compensate for the £800 remaining payment on the patio door which is still due to go on there.
