Great news that you don't need an op. What is the plan for avoiding a recurrence?

Glad your health is improving and your home coming together.
Love the trainers !DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Need to keep to low/lower fat to reduce likelihood of recurrence and related trips to hospital. I want to try and keep losing weight and as importantly maintain what I've lost. Time will tell if I succeed or not.
I spent a lot of this weekend painting my fence and gardening. I now need to buy more fence paint before I can continue. I need to pace myself though - which as you know is not my strong point - but I'm seeing these activities as my version of physio. My living room is messy right now - and because I've taken the cushions away temporarily because of the flea risk - not as comfortable. I've therefore been spending a bit more time in the back L shape which in comparison is tidier for once. Now my garden is taking shape and there are bright colours and flowers in my view line it's easier to spend time at the kitchen/dining table. Having my yellow, white and grey striped curtains has also helped make it feel a more 'finished' space and tied the yellow of my kettle into the other side of the room.
DD and her BF have also been over twice because they were collecting surplus furniture. The car was full on the second trip - so DD stayed and played a game with me while she waited for her BF to collect her which was nice. They are loving the local gym near me and it has a hydro pool - so I'm tempted - but it would cost £40 a month... Given everything else I seem to be spending £ on currently I don't know why that feels a barrier but it does. I've not been to the gym or pool probably since last Summer. It therefore is hard to start. DD can probably get me a trial pass - and it could be that the first time I go when they are there which may help... I'll think about it. I need to have somewhere to go that doesn't mean I am constantly spending or bringing more stuff in the house/garden. It could also be a useful way of meeting people.
I've done a bit more on my review form. I spilled water over another electrical device this weekend - so that was another example I was able to add of daily struggles. The handyman was able to open the blind I thought was broken the other day and able to get the compartment off my new cordless hoover when I struggled. He demonstrated it to me several times and I could do it occasionally. I was contemplating returning it as I thought it was damaged... That's the dyspraxia side of things... I've misplaced my remaining ADHD meds too as I put it in a 'safe' place so will have to tip a little out of a higher dose capsule to have meds in the morning unless I miraculously find it before. I should be able to pick up meds from the chemist later tomorrow for the rest of the week.
This coming week I'm due to work every day - but still reduced hours. It's still a jump though as it will be around double what I did last week. I speak to OHU mid week.
