Thanks KK, Blackcats, BM and Merlin

I've not had any more bites since spraying the soft furnishings, rugs, carpets etc so hoping that the cat itself is okay for now. I've not applied any extra treatment to the cat you'll be glad to know.

On the form - they want to know what's changed versus what's stayed the same. I've looked through what I submitted last time and re-subscribed to an advice site. I've made some additions. The advice site - says ignore what the form says and restate your needs - giving some fresh examples where possible and reuse stuff from your last form. As you say Blackcats and KK there are examples on the diary I can use. Thanks for reminding me of the garden fall - that would be a great one to use. A relative has had P1p long term and been through several reviews so I will see what they do. I realised yesterday that when I recently knocked over a fizzy drink earlier in the week it gummed up the electric blanket controller... Another good example to use - as it shows the safety risk of what I do...

Good luck with the review.  Glad the handyman has tackled some of your urgent jobs.

I think I am with the advice site - restate things as I suspect you are relying on two ‘systems’ talking to each other and sharing data (and we all know how effective that might not be! 😉) and that the assessor will read both and add it all together. Make their job easier and put it all in one place …

    Thanks Jwil

I've written a few more examples on my review form. I've ordered a new electric throw as it is unsafe to continue using the controller I got orange on...

I had another go at cleaning the black mould off the window frame and blind area in Bed 2 earlier. Once I'm confident the black mould has gone - I may get the handyman to put the blind back up - just further away from the window frame. The black mould seems to have gone from the fabric after I sprayed it last week.

The weather hasn't been as kind today but I do now have two more curtain poles up. The handyman's hung some curtains I already have so I needn't have gone out and bought more. Shortly I need to make myself go and return curtains, blinds and a pole so I get nearly £300 back on my 0% CC.

The handyman has also investigated a socket that wouldn't work any more. Apparently running an extension cable to my washing machine and dryer and using both at the same time had melted the plastic in the socket to the extent it was hard to get the plug out. He's had to replace the whole socket for me. The extension cable concerned also needs binning or its fuse replacing. Sounds like I was lucky. I put a load of washing on earlier (using a different extension lead and socket) - I need to transfer that to the dryer next.

I got some wildflower seed on my Mr A delivery yesterday and have scattered those this morning. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have a mini meadow out the front of the house. I'm hoping if the rain stops / holds off to get back out in the garden later.

My other 3 pairs of trainers arrived. I am keeping the two that are the same style as I bought last year - one the same colour, one a different colour. They were 57% of the price I paid last year which were my most expensive pair of shoes ever! I'm going to return 2 pairs from yesterday and 1 pair from today. In theory that company give me 20% off in my birthday month (May) so I may still order a different size of a red and black one I liked yesterday but that while fitting on my feet just felt too snug. I got 20% off this set too - so it may be that I can just swap the size. I'll go and return the stuff to D and R and get that £ back in my account and then ponder some more. I'll also buy some waterproof spray as I'm not sure I still have any. I'll post some piccies from my phone.

I'll also buy some paint at some point for the banisters. I'll paint that as I can't afford to pay the handyman to paint things I could... He gave me a slight discount today so that made me feel a little better on the £ side of things. He's also not coming next week - and if he comes the week after he's happy to wait until I next get paid for his £. I explained I was partly panicking over £ because of the review as if that had not been happening I'd have had enough - but now I have the worst case fear factor of what if they take it all away. I'd appeal but it would be such a hassle. I've also chased the builder's quote as I need to know what that's going to be to understand what £ I need to ringfence for that and therefore what if anything I'll have left/need to save.

I like the trainers!  I'm always looking for something with good grip, so they look good.

Any chance of getting a socket put in for the washer and dryer?  It would be safer than using extension leads as they are power hungry appliances.
