Spoonie_Turtle so if my son opened an account with amazon and ordered say an ipad for me at my address, then I payed him cash wouldn't he have to report the cash I gave him to Uc?
    You’re getting unnecessarily complicated again.

You already have your own Amazon account so why would he need to order something for you and for you to give him the cash back again?

Just keep it simple – he orders his own things himself on his account and has them delivered to which ever address is most convenient for him; you order your own things on your account and have them delivered to which ever address is most convenient for you.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • elsien I was just using myself as an example, I should of said his brother or cousin who haven't got an account with amazon and live at different addresses.

It doesn't matter, none of that will affect any of his UC. You're worrying needlessly. My younger daughter has amazon prime but myself and my elder daughter doesn't. I live with my younger daughter and my other daughter lives in her home with her family. She uses my daughters amazon account all the time because of the free next day delivery and it's delivered to her address. It makes no difference and they won't be interested.
  • poppy I know I do intend to worry and overthink things, probably because he's my son and I don't want him to get in trouble :)
