    If you start to suffer unnecessarily to save money - such as not have the heating on when it is -5 outside and blowing a gale.
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:
    I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.

    I know a man who has a really good job no outgoings etc and he split up with his gf just before christmas as he didnt want to buy her a present!. the same person will go out with a group of us for something to eat , take his son and then has a really good moan when we expect him to pay for his son as well as he expects us all to pay a portion of his sons meal as well.
    he also makes sure he is last in the pub so he doesnt buy a round! now i think that's stingy!
  • Saving becomes stingy when you leave your pregnant girlfriend and offer to pay for an abortion 'it'll be cheaper than paying maintenence when I win the Masters'. (said to me by my professional golfer EX boyfriend)

    What a lucky escape we had :)

    I remember someone my mum used to know. He was quite wealthy, I remember my mum telling me that she had seen him and he had offered her a quarter of a polo and said 'I think a quarter is enough for anybody!!! Now personally I think that's tight!!!

    That's not tight ........ Only offering folk the centre, now that's tight. ;)

    You may walk and you may run
    You leave your footprints all around the sun
    And every time the storm and the soul wars come
    You just keep on walking

    I nominate my OH as the stingiest **** ever. After 22 years he gave me his 1st contribution towards Christmas, the Nectar points he gained from petrol, he didn't even pay for the petrol-his firm did.
    Tallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!
