I have just found the following email address for CST LAW on another site
    info@creditstyle.co.uk
the website for reference was www.thriftyfamily.co.uk, they also have a link to the Credit style complaints portal, search CST Law LBC
Thank you so much. I'd be sending them an email to that address and also I'll reply on their portal as suggested in the LBC so there is no argument for not being properly notified.

I have received the following email from Credit style

"With regards to your recent contact to us via our website contact page 7 days ago, we are still in the process of responding to your message, your account will remain on hold and no further steps taken until we come back to you."

Hi me too, same reply by the way however now more than 14 days since I send them the letter have passed and I have not heard yet back. Should I put some pressure or this might mean that they are letting it go?
  • Hello guys, after my last post I thought this was closed, however here we go again this time with DCBLegal.

I haven't heard anything back from CST Law or Met Parking for a few months, then DCBLegal started again in April sending me the same sort of "request" CST Law used to do before. I dismissed them as with CST Law, and I haven't heard anything from DCBLegal for the last 3 months. I got this LOC below earlier today on the post.

In any case the basis of the reply done before to CST Law continues to be the same - non POFA compliance notification by MET Parking with the same basis, they did not informed in time.

I requested in my reply to CST Law for them to remove my data from their DDBB, but maybe I failed to include also Met Parking?

Can I use the same reply letter I did for CST Law to these "scammers"?

Thank you for your advise on the matter.

    Thanks!

The first few lines of the second post of the NEWBIES thread explain exactly how to react upon receipt of a Letter of Claim.
  • Hi Keith thank you so much for your prompt comment. I have used that precise post in the past and as you can see from my post I drafted a reply letter a few months back with the help of Coupon-mad.

Just wanted to check that I can use the same letter as before to reply to DBCLegal this time, and also to confirm - which I believe might have been the case - that I should include not only the legal company operating on behalf of MetParking but also Metparking to remove my details from their DDBB.

    Many thanks for your help.

But the recommended LBC response there changed fairly recently.

Anyhoo, you positively WANT a court claim from DCB Legal because as we all know, they always discontinue well-defended single PCN cases.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi Coupon-mad glad to see your reply again.

Sorry I don't understand what you mean by the LBC response changed there recently? In any case is the previous reply I sent when they where using CST still valid?

I understand what you mean about the CC from DCB Legal, but couldn't I reply the same way as I did before with CST?

    - Non-POFA compliance PCN
    - Out of the 14 day period
    - Not the driver and don't need as the keeper to identify it?

thanks for the help! Really want these scammers to "bite the dust" with these predatory practices. I still cannot understand that there is no new regulation stopping them from these practices.

    thank you!

It doesn't matter which reply you use to a LBC!

  • Well, I sent them finally the LOC reply ove the email and they've gotten back to me with the below. Should I agree to email communication or should I request them to continue with the letters they've been sending? Just to understand if someone has experience on this as they might now "bombard" my email address and I don't want to share anymore details with them.

To be said that I was that the letter as showed before here was pretty straight forward and asked them to remove my details and stop within 14 days. I didn't had this issue before when dealing with CST Law.

    Thanks for the advice.
