    It works... badly and unintuitively.

    Cynergy simply don't care though.

    * I didn't think Cynergy offered competitive accounts anymore.
    * Their systems don't support my browser either.
    * I didnt even leave a £1 in the account 'just in case things were to improve.
    * I certainly don't miss them!

    EA 5.15% inc 1.15% for 12 months. Not too shabby.
  • I'm very impressed by someone who works in tech, but can't fix double line spacing in their own posts.
    A new poster can't edit their post until they've been around for a little while, so how do you expect them to fix it? Note I don't think they've put in the double lines themselves, it looks like some extra formatting has been added which I doubt they were expecting.
    OK, I didn't know that - I withdraw the snark.

    They messaged me to say I haven't credited my savings.

    Quite right. Because  YOU told me I had to wait 5-7 business days or whatever it was for the next stage of the account opening process. These days haven't passed.

    Not good vibes.

    I guess it's different strokes for different folks but I find the logon easy enough, albeit different to others. It always works first time and quickly. Their rates are good and we are happy customers.

    Actually just reminded me of a question I had about it... When you have closed all of your accounts so it won't let you do the quick apply thing, and therefore I guess you have to reregister as a new customer, will the same authenticator app work for the new account?

    Update:

    Cynergy have recently sent an email saying they're introducing a new site, and in the meantime have at least added a slightly better login procedure. We'll have to see.

    There are 2 differences they've just introduced: you have the option of still using the authenticator app to photo the coloured square and confirm with your fingerprint, but it will now communicate directly with their backend and let you in without you then having to type in a confirmation number; or (and I haven't tried this yet) you can have a conformation number texted to your phone, like most sites do, which you then presumably type in on your logon screen.
