Sainsburys nectar - double up

It is discriminatory. But you are falling into the mistake of thinking that discriminatory is wrong. It isn’t, if done lawfully. Every time you have a job interview where you don’t get the job, the employer has discriminated between candidates to choose the best one, otherwise they would have to and employ everyone.Dfreeland said:I think the way this has been offered by Nectar and Sainsbury is completely discriminatory. When I questioned it with Sainsbury’s on messenger, they said they look at customers spending, but will not divulge criteria. Points earned are points earned and everyone should have this offer. Perhaps someone at Money Saving Expert would like to take this up with Sainsbury?
Many things that businesses do every day are discriminatory and perfectly legally so. Who to target offers at, who to offer cheap credit cards to, who to email 10% off to, cheap child seats on planes.
These are commercial decisions designed to drum up trade so of course they’re not going to share that commercially sensitive information with you. Why would they? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.3 -
But we all have those personalised offers, where as only some have been selected to ‘Power Up’ their points. It makes no sense.0

Are Taste the Difference wines definitely included in this offer? I can’t see any reference to this unless I’m missing something!1

Someone mentioned that they were, but definitely can't see anything in the Ts&Cs - says it excluded the 6/25%Lpghostage said:Are Taste the Difference wines definitely included in this offer? I can’t see any reference to this unless I’m missing something!0 -
It makes perfect sense, they are using it to boost business by stimulating different groups of users in different ways. This is common business practice and they are not going to give you a different offer because you complain, just the same as many companies make different offers to different groups of customers and potential customers.Dfreeland said:But we all have those personalised offers, where as only some have been selected to ‘Power Up’ their points. Whilst I did not get the Power Up offer, I did get the Count Up promotion. Doubling £100 of points to £200 would have been nice, equally getting £15 of points from the Count Up promotion was nice, I accept that different offers are made to different people, I am not going to have a tantrum just because I did not get the one I wanted.1 -

Thanks for that. However, I still cant find this on the Power up voucher terms and conditions! Does this list actually refer to a previous Double up offer, opposed to the current Power up offer?Kantankrus_Mare said:Taste the Difference: Wine, Champagne, Sparkling, Sherry & Port

Hmm not sure.....to be honest, I bought a jacket at the same time so my £20 voucher could have gone through on that purchase. Will see if there is a date on it.
Just been on a site called HouseholdMoneySaving and it gives you a list of whats included and Taste the Difference wines is there.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £601 -

Download the Nectar app today to make your points go further by swapping them for higher value Sainsbury’s vouchers.

Yet when I go on the mobile app, I cant find any reference? anything I should be clicking?
