Sainsburys nectar - double up

Coffeekup said:Mnoee said:I've not been offered it either - I have the 'Count up to Christmas' promotion, where I get 1000 extra nectar points for every 500 points I collect in Sainsbury's, which is fair enough.
Last scheme I had was in September with the fruit and veg challenge.
However I can't complain as some of the posters here don't have the double up offer even if they have the app, and the double up offer is good.0 -
I usually get the count up to Christmas promotion but not this year, I got the double up though. I think maybe if you get one you don't get the other. I'd be interested to know what criteria they use to decide who gets what.1

Ok, for those of you with the offer please be careful. Some disappoiniting "sharky tactics" in play here. It's in the small print i.e terms and conditions but I didnt pick this up until after I selected my voucher and the Nectar helpline can't seem to do anything once selected other then tell you its in the Ts&Cs!
Key points summarised here :
1. You may have numerous vouchers but can only spend a may of 10,000 points. So if you select a £60 voucher you will automatically lose access to the £80 voucher.
2. As mentioned above you have to use the voucher in one shop and you can only use 1 voucher of the same value in one transaction. So if you have 5 x £20 vouchers you'll have o use them in 5 different transactions, However, you could use a £20 and a £40 voucher together.
3. You have to use the voucher within a month of converting, sp best t oconvert as you need them but before 24 November when he Power Up offer expires.
4. Usual exclusion like you can't use them on lottery, alcohol, petrol. (Term 5)
5. If using online your delivery / collection has to be by 2359 on the day your offer expires.

I have £100 of Nectar points in my account but haven't been offered either the Count up to Christmas or the Double Up Offer so it doesn't seem a case of Nectar cardholders being offered one or the other
I suspect as I live on my own and therefore not a big spender at Sainsbury's they don't think I'm worth targeting! All I seem to get are the fruit and veg challenges!

I've got nearly £200 in nectar points, shop at sainsbury regularly & haven't been offer either of the Xmas countdown or the double up offer. I'm quite miffed about it. Have been on the nectar chat a few times, they haven't got a clue. One said I 'will' be getting it, and 'if' I'm successful..... so I will but I might not?
Then another said it'll be with me in 24hours, however i suspect they're lying.1 -

Correct. Any unused portion of the voucher is lost upon redemption.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂1

No offer in my app either, just the "Count up to christmas". I wonder if you are excluded if you have already subscribed to that offer?
Frustrating though, as I have 300,000 points and have been waiting for something worth more than face value to spend some on for a few years now.• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.

I haven't been offered the Double Up. I did get offered the Count Up to Christmas one but apparently the device I use (laptop using Google Chrome) doesn't support the app.Be kind to others and to yourself too.0
